Horrible bank they stole money from me in an account that had no reason to do so. In addition the employees failed to inform me on any proper information on the account answering all my concerns with a no. Thankful the employees of FRB in California sent me a bank statement in the mail just closed the account today. First Republic Bank is no help and I advise no one to bank with them. The only helpful person I meet was the valet woman she is very cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. Unlike FRB if one call’s they automatically become secretive and refuse to answer any proper questions without a database check first. With no reason FRB does not hiuse high cliente like their counterparts Goldman, UBS, or Merrill Lynch.

I never thought I would be so compelled to write a review about a bank...but here I am. First Republic assisted me in refinancing my grad school student loans at an unbeatable rate. The customer service is truly a step above remarkable. If you are in the Palm Beach area and searching for a bank that will truly go above and beyond to serve you, this is it.

I went to FRB today to fund my checking account in order to qualify for their student loan refinance options. I chose FRB because not only did they have the lowest interest rates I could find anywhere, but they also offer great banking perks like no ATM fees anywhere and reimbursement for any fees charged.
I was greeted by the valet attendant who was warm and welcoming and walked me to the banker I had an appointment with. I met with Danny and he was friendly and knowledgable. He made the process quick and easy and answered all of my questions. I had already done most of the paperwork for my student loan refinance before coming into the bank with Craig and subsequently received an offer for a welcome bonus in the mail. Danny was quick to review the offer and ensure that the proper people were notified to make sure my bonus was granted.
I instantly received a debit card and a folder full of paperwork with all of my account information. After answering all of my questions, I was given a delicious box of freshly made cookies, an umbrella, and a cold bottle of water on the way out. FRB boasts a white-glove banking service and this is truly what I received today. I feel confident knowing that any of the bankers and refinance specialists are available via phone or email when any questions arise. Thank you for making a process smooth that can be very overwhelming!

I used this bank for a checking account and as a student loan lender for my medical school loans. Without a doubt, this is the best bank I have ever used. Good quality customer service is very hard to find, and First Republic goes above and beyond.

As a professional and local business person with a multi-million dollar portfolio, and after 10 years of banking with Valley Bank in Palm Beach, who never did a thing for me, it was time to seek out a new bank. A Palm Beach Bank who wanted to create a relationship and one who could potentially read between the lines. I thought First Republic could fit the bill, but how wrong I was. It was a fiasco from the beginning, then the excuses and lies came. When challenged they responded with more lies. They even claimed to have filed a complaint on my behalf, without even showing me my alleged complaint. I requested a talk with the CEO and of course they probably never passed it up the chain.Stay tuned.

Last week I had the usual exceptional service from the parking greeter as well as the staff at FRB but when I returned to my car it would not start.The parking assistant took charge,had three different staff members try to jump my battery to no avail,and then made arrangements with a towing company and my service station where it would be towed to.All this was while I waited inside in AC with coffee and cookie.This type of kindness in these days of robotic customer service truly restored my faith in humanity and made me a FRB fan for life.
