I visited the Inglewood branch with my mother and opened a new account today. From the moment we entered the branch, we experienced exceptional customer service. We interacted with Jesse, Dejon, and Elizabeth and they each were professional and personable. The process for opening an account was quick and simple. I want to start off with saying that I am a single mother with three boys, I live in Inglewood in a studio paying $1,900 a month. My credit score is a 675, I make around $5,500 a month gross and I have no evictions no judgments against my name. I can't find a place to live in Inglewood that's going to be close to my kids school and provide daycare for my little baby. So when I tell you this situation with school First Credit Union has grieved me in such a vicious way, I mean it to the bottom of my soul. I bank with Navy Federal Credit Union. I'm able to go to other credit unions and deposit checks. I deposit my employment check into school First Credit Union ATM in Inglewood. They deem my employment check to be fraudulent, they could not provide me any information of why it was fraudulent, they said that the funds were deposited into my Navy Federal account but was not available to me because of fraudulent activity. I've been waiting a whole month for them to release my funds or send the funds back to my employer's account so he can write me another check. No one in first school has been helpful, they don't care that I'm a single mother, they don't care that I earned this money with a sweat of my back, they don't care to provide me any information because I'm not important to them. This Credit Union is unprofessional and they don't care about you. They do things and don't give any explanation and they say so what, what can you.do. I just want to let someone know that they can take your check and then your bank can hold your funds and there's nothing that you can do about it and first school says it's not their problem they're not going to help because this bank doesn't care about their customers.

I applied for a small loan and the paperwork was completed in a day. I went to the branch and had the best experience I have ever had in a financial institution. And to think 6 years ago they paid me to open an account. Customer for life.

I live Schools First Credit Union. If I have any issues they always go 9 yards and beyond. When I got the opportunity to transfer my account to Schools First from Wells Fargo I have never been so happy. Put it this way, I'll be with Schools First for life!

I love SchoolsFirst, but this isn't my favorite branch. Every time I've come to this ATM, a stranger has asked me for money. Normally I don't mind panhandling and try to support my community when I can, but when I'm at an ATM, I feel too vulnerable to be put in this position, and it makes me feel unsafe.
