It has been my great pleasure to know Kevin Nye for many years both professionally and socially. I know him to be a man of integrity and business acumen.
As an example, when Kevin was working as the COO of a major Sothern California steel firm, I presented a payroll solution to him and his firm that met all their needs and would, we agreed, it solve their most pressing HR and Payroll issues. Much to my chagrin, Kevin allowed the existing payroll company time to fix their issues thereby saving his firm the costly time and disruption of changing payroll providers. Despite our long friendship he made a decision that was best for his employer, and for that I respect him. He did, of course, continue to “plan” the move to my company so as to make it as efficient and painless as possible if necessary. This “out of the box” thinking is just one reason I wholeheartedly recommend Kevin to any CEO or board looking to step up their Operations game.
