I updated my policy on the Allstate website to include my new car, but they canceled my policy without even asking for my consent. When I called the agent, they scrambled to fix it. However, the rental reimbursement coverage I wanted was missing. So, I updated it again through the website, and this time, they suspended my original car.

At that point, I should have realized how terrible their website was, but I trusted Allstate too much and let them mess up twice. I had no choice but to call the agent again. This time, Leon handled everything properly—though my premium increased significantly.

Here’s the interesting part: until Leon stepped in, the Allstate system hadn’t uploaded the proof of purchase for my new car or the photos of my old one. Someone had clearly messed up. And Leon also told me that whenever I make changes through the website, I’m supposed to receive confirmation texts or emails. Guess what? I never got any. That’s why they canceled and suspended my policy.

Don’t trust Allstate. It’s scary to think what might have happened if Leon hadn’t helped me. One more time—don’t trust Allstate. They handle things however they want. Never update your policy through their website. Always call your agent. It’s crucial.

I'm so glad i switched agents i wont mention the name of my previous allstate agent but let's just say he was horrible and i am so happy i switched. My new agent is Laura and she is amazing!!! she is very thorough and took the time to explain everything step by step on my policy and answered all my questions ...I am very happy with her and feel less stressed now....i can now say im in good hands with Allstate (Laura)!! Through out the years I have been doing business with different insurance agents and their staff I am very familiar with their practices. I am writing this review based on my personal experiences with this Agent and his staff. I have only conducted business over the phone with this office. I must assure you that this is a legitimate company so rest assure that your information is safe. When dealing with this insurance company they always answer my phone calls in a professional manner and in a positive way. I usually handle my business with Jacqueline Rodriguez if she is busy she always returns my calls in a timely manner. She is well aware and very attentive to my custom needs. I am not an easy to please client and most of my needs have to be custom and tailored. This office is well verse and trained to handle all sorts of request. As for the agent Carl F. Johnson he will step in with his trustworthy old school mustache that represents trust and integrity if he is ever needed. I Daniel Flores approve this company and highly recommend it to anyone shopping around.
