These guys are awful. I have purchased Track insurance. The website defaults to today's date for coverage instead prompting you to pick the track date. It is impossible to correct the binder date in a timely manner. They also charge 11.3% for Credit card use without disclosing it until after the purchase is made. As my confidence waned, I feared what might happen if I actually had a claim. I attempted to cancel, they offered as long as I paid an 20% penalty. What a nightmare. I wish I had never encountered Lockton Track Insurance.

Couldn’t get them to cancel a policy even with advanced notice, two emails and two phone calls. God forbid if I needed to use the policy. I’ll go local next time and I suggest you do the same.

EDIT to company response:
The third email was answered And a refund was finally initiated after 5 business days that will take an additional 7-10 business days to return money to my account. Company responded to this negative review in a SINGLE business day. If the company wants to know how they can be better, please read the aforementioned edit once again. You can respond to a negative review almost instantaneously, but not 3 emails and two phone calls? I don’t think my review will sink the company, nor should it. I do think that, if even one potential customer reads this review and keeps their money out of this company’s hands, my missing funds will have not been in vain.

I had the pleasure of working with Kellen Russell, Senior Account Manager, on renewing my policy. I say working, but I did very little other than update Ms. Russell on our annual information. She did all of the work. Our policy was again comprehensive and fairly quoted. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this company does not have your best interest at hand, gets dismissed and talked down to as though you are stupid. save your money and find a better provider.

The firearms login site is difficult to locate. Especially since you only do it once a year to update payment methods, add, change items etc. I think the insurance is a bit high. I do not have a large expensive fireproof safe (Yet), which should lower the annual premium next year...However, my items are secure in a steel cabinet in a very secure area of my home. Seems like the premium should come down a bit after being with them a few years. Hoping they honor their coverage if the worst happens.

Most of the positive reviews for this company are from their employees (conflict of interest). That should tell you everything.

We've had numerous issues with customer service, mistakes being made on documents, etc. They do not communicate AT ALL. We had a claim be denied even though they screened the claim and said it was going to be good to go. An absolute nightmare to deal with.

Update:
Their generic, scripted responses are a slap in the face. This company is too big to care about their customers.

We used Lockton Affinity for about 4 or so years for business insurance. No claims, and simply paid our bills on time. 15 January 2022 we received written notification that our policy would expire without being renewed on 19 January 2022. It was extremely impersonal, and put us in a bind. The reasoning was due to someones lack of understanding of our business - and our guess was someone went to our website and jumped to a few conclusions, instead of asking questions. This wasn't the worse part though. The people that are employed as sales reps are not very professional or more importantly knowledgeable. Instead they roll with what they know, and don't bother to put forth a good effort. As a business owner, it's utterly unbelievable. They don't even know their customer's industries, which is crucial! Their terrible service, horrible communication and lack of care to even attempt to keep our business led us to better coverage, and a damned rockstar of an agent that has invested their time in learning our industry.

With the way we were treated over the matter of 3 days, I will go out of my way to steer people away from Lockton Affinity. Your leadership should be ashamed...oh, you clearly don't have any.

Edit: After my initial submission I remembered back to conversations my business partners and I had after various conversations with some of our reps and we'd comment to ourselves, asking if these people were really this unknowledgeable, or perhaps they were working remote and just intoxicated.

Don't waste your time, and look elsewhere. They're not the best value. Better rates and service can be found elsewhere.
