My comment is not because of this branch, it’s because of the company. I had an issue with my credit card and a merchant and my card was locked. My card had been locked because of this merchant but Altura let the charges go through. When I called, they had the nerve to tell me my card was not locked and I told them I had photo evidence and then the story changed again. In all the years I had my account with this company, I never been lied to so bad. To all the people who are thinking about doing business with this company don’t. Unless you want to be lied to and robbed at the same time.

I have been an Altura CU member since 2013. They have always taken care of us.
Now that I live in Reno, NV and losing more and more Co-Op shared branching locations, I have to close out my membership today.
Raymond is such an amazing person and really helped us close our membership.

I’m leaving this review for anyone who banks with altura. My boyfriend and brother in law both were scammed from Altura fraud department. We have filed police reports and complaints to Altura and they can’t do anything or at least warn customers. If you ever receive a called from “Altura fraud department” HANG UP! And walk in instead to address concerns or if they call you. The caller ID will even show up as Altura so DO NOT ANSWER. I will be switching banks unfortunately since my family got scammed. I will also be telling everyone I know.

I’ve been customer of Altura Credit Union for a while and the only problem I’ve had at the University Ave Branch in Riverside was the Security Guard. This is the second time it’s happened, first time I mentioned to Teller inside to no avail.The man thinks He’s a Cop and put his hand on his hip as if he had a gun. I was just going to ATM and he stared me down so I walked up to Him and words were exchanged. You may review cameras but I’ve got a feeling nothing’s going to change.

I wanted to add my wife to my account she said i need proof of residency which understandable, went and grabbed proof of residency and went to different location a lady said no we dont need proof of residency I ran her info the address popped up. really so U idiot couldn't run it at and other locations could do it.

On Monday I called Altura to find out if my debt of $250 was paid. They told me to call their debt collector, Conserve, to confirm it. In a 30 minute span I talk to 3 differentConserve and Altura representatives. Come to find out I had paid this debt in 2021 but someone from one of these companies had dropped the ball. I got a letter from Conserve stating I had finished paying this bill in 2021. When I went there to the Altura branch in Riverside today and showed them the letter they did not believe me or my evidence. They made me pay another $125 just to close this account. I wonder how many people they have overcharged due to their incompetence. Beware of them.

I had irregular balance that kept showing as interest on the credit card since January on payment owed.
I was in the office on University today and Brian was very helpful and took care of it.
It wasn't a lot of money but I try to pay cards without paying interest.
