Navigating the legal processes to settle our late mother's estate would not have been possible without their guidance and expertise. My interaction consisted of calling one morning, an auto-attendant offered to find someone for me. Almost simultaneously I received a text from the number I called, asking if they could call me later. I replied. “Yes, thank you”.
Sometime later (after I had made OTHER calls) the phone rang. I answered ‘Hello?’ A woman’s voice said, in what I interpreted as impatient or irritated tone, “You called me” … did not identify herself, just ‘you called me’.
A brief backtrack and I asked if this is Paladin. She corrected my pronunciation and said yes. Feeling awkward, I went ahead and asked my questions, even though I felt her impatience or irritation that I had to ask who was calling. After I explained I needed help deciding what to do with a small (but 6 figure) IRA, she asked about other assets, and told me she would have to think about it.
Long story short, I guess they don’t think our small amount of money is worth bothering with … I’ve received no call back.
