THOU SHALL NOT STEAL. Remember this one? That's what happened to a large sum of this senior citizen's hard to come by savings. I have been a client of Wilson Financial Services (WFS) for several years and I have several real estate based "CD alternatives" with WFS and those have proven to be ok so far. The problem started when I was introduced to Kenneth G. Wilson (grandson of Dennis Wilson and former employee at WFS). Kenneth Wilson has been taken off their website in recent months but he's probably still lurking around. Sometime in late 2021 or early 2022 Kenneth began telling me about a higher yielding investment and since he was working at WFS, I figured this was a product of WFS. I funded the account in March 2022 but by March of 2023 I hadn't received a 1099-int form for this account to include with my tax return. I was informed by Kenneth that I would not receive a 1099-int form for a number of years. That's when I found out that this was Kenneth's own business. I began to feel uncomfortable with this "investment" and requested to liquidate and cash out my account which Kenneth said I certainly could do. I mailed the completed forms to him in May of 2023 and that's when he became unreachable. I held off on doing a review because I thought he might return my money by now but as of this writing no money has been returned and Kenneth has not responded to any of my emails, texts or phone calls and the only phone number I had for him is not a working number. I would rate Kenneth's business but his outlandish website isn't ratable. Wilson Financial told me not to contact their office regarding this matter because they don't have anything to do with it. Dennis needs to tell his employees not to solicit WFS clients with personal business endeavors. Buyer beware! Do your research! Jesus is always right and what He says in Matthew 6:19-21 about laying up for ourselves treasures in heaven couldn't be more true.
