We recently bought a house and were recommended this agency to help us find the best deals on our homeowners insurance.

They recommended progressive and talked us into switching from our previous insurance. Rates were higher but we were assured that it was a better deal with a 12 month policy and we’d get one month free.

2 months later our premium went way up. Called progressive and they said it’s because we didn’t download and register their snapshot app to track our family’s driving.

I had no clue about that. When we signed up through this agency they didn’t tell us they signed us up for vehicle and driving tracking, which I never would have wanted.

After that, it was an absolute NIGHTMARE dealing with progressive. I’ve never experienced anything so horrific with continuously increasing rates and terrible service. When I called and left multiple voicemails for this agency to call me back, they never would.

I had to switch my homeowners and auto insurance to a different company. Although my rates are great NOW, we were forced to separate our 20 year old son from our policy and downgrade his coverage from what we had before dealing with Wyant insurance agency, initially.

It would have been great to have an advocate during this whole mess, but they never were helpful in resolving our issues. Sure were quick to take our business though. We paid the price! I can’t say these people are rude but they were MIA during our problems, and I’ve never been through so much stress dealing with insurance and spent hours and hours finding a different company and getting our rates where they should have been all along.
