I cannot recommend this branch based on my recent experience. During my visit, I encountered significant issues with customer service and professionalism. When attempting to complete documentation, the branch manager, Vanessa, was unable to explain the details of the forms I was asked to sign. This lack of knowledge about basic banking procedures was concerning. The staff appeared to need additional training to properly serve customers and handle basic banking operations. As a customer, I expect clear communication and knowledgeable assistance, especially regarding important financial documents. Unfortunately, my experience fell well short of these reasonable expectations.

I almost always have deposits going into wrong accounts in the drive in lane. I have to check and move them accordingly when going home. It's frustrating. Not sure why it's so difficult. Staff is super friendly, we are here a lot. This has not changed though in years. Same problem.

Horrible Experience I was denied to open an account because I just moved to Georgia & I still have an out of state license/ID. 30 mins later I went to Delta Community Credit Union and opened an account Checking, Savings & a Credit Card only took 1 hour with the same License/ID that Georgia's Own Credit Union denied me of. Thanks you guys for denying me you helped me choose a better bank which is Delta Community Credit Union.

I’ve been a member since 1996/97 and never had an issue with any of the personnel’s at any of the locations. The staff at the Grayson branch are outstanding.

Shout out to Vanessa, Customer Rep. at the Grayson branch. She took care of my Equity Loan and did an outstanding job.

We were told we could not use the drive-thru teller to cash a check that was less then $300. They charged $5 to cash the check, wanted my ID, and a credit or debit card just to cash it. Surprised they didn’t ask for my fingerprints. You would think I was trying to cash a check for $20k. It was a Georgias Own check, which is the only reason I went there to cash it. Never again. They make things difficult intentionally. I do not recommend this BANK. They do not want your business!

Terrible Bank very impersonal. Notice I say Bank. A credit union is supposed to be more member focused and because it is member-owned there are supposed to be no fees. I get charged $8 a month for my checking account all because I hit a rough patch and was low on money for a little while because of an accident. They don't work with you at all. I got out of work with just enough time to barely make it to the bank before they close. Called before I arrived to let them know I was trying to make it there as soon as I possibly could so that I could get money deposited in my account to pay a bill that was coming out at 9 p.m. They told me that they would work with me as long as I made it there. Got there at 4:01 to have the doors locked and the lady that came to the door be completely rude to me and act like my situation didn't concern her even in the slightest. The very second my loan is paid off I will not hesitate to take my business elsewhere. I would almost rather be a customer of Wells Fargo then to be a Georgia's Own Credit Union customer. To hell in a handbasket at the very least with the employees at the Grayson Georgia location

I made an appt with a representative to get a car loan check to take to the dealership. I only waited 5 minutes until Vanessa called me in to her office and got me all the paperwork, explained everything thoroughly, and got me the check. It was quick and painless and I was able to get it done on my lunch break. Now I'm free to shop anywhere I want for a new car and I have the buying power for the dealerships to take me seriously. Great job, Georgia's Own and great job, Vanessa!
