I met Jeff Young (President of Cannon) over three years ago and instantly knew I was in good hands. A friend had recommended I talk to him about some misinformation I received regarding my future Social Security. Jeff had prepared a detailed report explaining everything I needed to know about my current financial situation and relayed it to me in a way I could understand. I was recently divorced, my ex-husband handled all money matters, and I knew nothing of managing investments. When I went in that first day, I wasn't planning on changing financial institutions. However, I was very impressed with his service, and once I got home, I called to inform him that I wanted to switch to them.

At my second meeting, Jeff introduced me to the financial planner assigned to my case, Matt Goyen. Matt has always exceeded my expectations. Anytime I have a question or concern, Matt is always there for me. In a recent example, Matt went above and beyond his duties to help me navigate the refinancing of my mortgage. Because of Matt, I have reduced my mortgage payment by five hundred dollars per month. I would highly recommend Cannon to anyone.

They are a do it yourself financial company. I had my retirement account with them through a previous employer. That employer terminated my plan and dealing with Cannon to move to something new has been nothing short of a nightmare! The planner responsible for my plan doesn't return phone calls and is unreachable. I have asked to speak to his supervisor and can't get a phone call back. They have the administrative staff write letters that insult my intelligence and now I am having to explain to one of the office staff how to do a rollover. Stay far away from these people.

The front office admin answers they transfer me to an “Account Specialist” who has yet to answer. I am getting slammed in the market and I am not sure what do because I can’t roll anything over without them. This has been a NIGHTMARE to say the least
