My first and only experience with Tidwell & Hilburn Insurance was a very unfortunate one. We were in the process on closing on 3 separate homes and we needed an insurance quote asap. Mr. Dave Pushman was able to provide us with our quote, however, our lender required that each property needed to be on their own separate binder. When I reached back out to Dave Pushman via email and asked if he could accommodate this request, his exact response was “No can do, sorry”. So, I emailed him again just to be sure and he gave me a one word answer of “No”. Not quite understanding his issue, judging by the tone of his email, I decided to give him a call. On the call, Dave Pushman was very rude and unwilling to accommodate. He said that he could not get us a new quote separated out by tomorrow. Mind you, it was only 2:30 pm in the afternoon. He said if he had more time, then maybe…
Whaaat? I’m just asking for an insurance quote. It is literally his job. He was so rude and even said that maybe I should take my business somewhere else. My mouth dropped and hit the floor. I simply told him to have a nice day and we ended the call. We were looking to move our Macon portfolio of properties over to a local company, but because of this experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
