Recently I visited the branch in Clarkesville to deposit cash and coins. It has been quite a while since depositing coins, so I had no idea rolled coins are no longer accepted. The teller was so nice by helping me unwrap and even offered a cup to hold coins for pouring into the Coinstar. Overall an excellent customer service experience at UCBI.

I have dealt with UCB in Clarkesville for years. Even though the people change, you still get great customer service!! Elisha Kinsey is amazing, she has helped me tremendously from a teller position to her newest position. She's the reason that I'm doing my commercial loan with UCB!! She's also the reason that I will continue to call UCB my banking home, UCB!! As long as she's there, my accounts will be there too!! 💚

In a world moving towards digital everything, I greatly benefit from my local Clarkesville UCB branch. Just today, they changed out foreign currency, sent off a Canadian check, and made a couple of deposits for me. Everyone I ever encountered there has been helpful and professional. Just absolutely nothing like a hometown Community Bank. No matter what city I go to, this bank never fails me. Always willing to go the extra mile. Sheila was awesome today. The best Christmas present in a long time. She was kind and helpful and patient and went beyond the call of duty and her service today.

Only giving one star because this was my first time visiting this particular branch. Otherwise for a first impression 0 stars. I waited about 20 minutes to obtain a card. The person who handles that was busy, understandable. However after continuing to wait, it was clear that not only was she busy but the transaction appeared to be full of leisure, laughter and prolonging of the interaction. I finally went back to the teller and asked to just withdraw cash. Mind you, I haven’t needed a card in months and wasn’t in a rush knowing the probability of having a poor interaction. I handed her my ID & had to ask for it to be picked up & given to me. Once she had the funds withdrawn she sat it on the counter no envelope or anything, refused to put anything in my hand, but the two caucasian gentleman before me were asked if an envelope or anything else was needed. I didn’t even get a transaction receipt from this rude excuse of a worker. She knew she was wrong because upon me picking up the cash she said “sorry about that”. Let’s keep the sorry and behave because sorry doesn’t change poor character or behavior.
