I’ve never had a good experience at this bank… I’ve never had so many issues with any other bank. I don’t want to leave bad reviews but I have to be honest. Every-time I go into this bank they never say hello, and are not polite. They are very cold & rude. Most times they take a long time to do anything. Their computers have been down multiple times I go in. And every single time I go to Walmart to use this card it declines at least once you have to jam the card into the reader and it does this with multiple cards. I even ordered a new card because it did this at every place I went to. It didn’t change anything. When I called United Bank I was respectful and had concerns if my card was being charged multiple times for all the declines and the lady on the phone was so unnecessarily rude! She said “all the charges went through” with an attitude when they clearly did not cause the card kept declining and I walked out the store & it never charged my card. The bank app said it didn’t either. She then proceeded to cut me off with my concerns and had a very rude tone.

Also, on the united bank app on your phone it keeps kicking you out where you have to keep updating your password. It’s extremely annoying. They say “if you don’t log in for a month it changes the password” which is not true because I go into my bank app every day and it does this often. If you’re looking for a bank in Thomaston I would not recommend united bank. Pick another bank. It’s been a nightmare with this bank.

I would NOT recommend this bank. They are behind the times or something. Everytime I go to use my card it declines. When I called the bank asking why my card kept declining they were super rude and told me basically it wasn’t true because nothing was showing it was declined. Yet the card won’t even let me buy anything and I have to use cash or another card. Therefore the card is NOT working, It’s extremely frustrating. One of the cashiers at a store I went to said it is very common with customers using United Bank cards for them to decline. Another time I went in there it took so long because their whole system was down and I had to come back another day to even open a bank account. I should have known then. I am switching banks and I’m sure that will even be a huge hassle to get my money out to go to another bank. Go somewhere else! They also don’t even have the “tap” option on their cards which is crazy because every other card or bank does and it makes it much easier to pay with card.

I have always had great service at United Bank . Although the service i received today was disappointing. I went to the drive through to deposit some money into my account and the girl at the window never said hello or thank you . It’s just good customer service to be acknowledged. She never said a word to me . When she put my receipt in the drawer she went back to filing her nails . Something she shouldn’t do on company time anyway .

I like to give credit where it's due and I'm starting with the Loan Dept upstairs! Amanda, TaHesia, Debbie and Kayley are the nicest group of Ladies! They have gone above and beyond excellent customer service and are always willing to help. I've gotten several loans with them and never had any issues. If you ever need anything, they've got your back!!❤️❤️
