Embarrassed to report, but I had my first “fender bender” in a long time this past summer. I sideswiped a few cones leaving a parking lot that somehow caused pretty major damage to the passenger side of my car. After evaluating the damage, I determined that I couldn’t live with the scratched sides of the car and decided to get it repaired. I brought my car in for an evaluation to see if I should just pay for the repair out of pocket, or go through my insurance, to which they let me know that unfortunately the repairs were going to be costly. I called Mike Jones and reported my shameful news. He quickly ran a query and replied “Here’s where I get to give you some great news. You have accident forgiveness on your policy, and essentially, you get a do-over, with no points on your record.” (I didn’t even know what accident forgiveness was, let alone that I had it on my policy… what I did know was that Mike is honest, trustworthy, and a great insurance agent, and I couldn’t have been more spot-on there). Within no time, Mike had processed the claim and had me on my way (in a comfortable rental) to repair. I couldn’t be more thankful that I chose wisely on my insurance agent. Not only was he way more affordable than my previous insurance company (Geico was charging me over 500$ more per year than MCJ does!), but Mike delivered in my time of need.
