This agency is great. I'm honestly shocked I didn't leave a review years ago. Tom has been the agent I work with there for I think 7 or 8 years now. He's always been top notch, professional, has never steered me wrong or make me feel like I'm getting robbed like other insurance companies. In all the years I've been with them I am now only experiencing my first issue and I trust it will get resolved. I will continue to go through them for insurance for the years to come.

I contacted Mainstream Insurance Agency to get a quote for car insurance and initially was contacted back promptly. I provided the information in email and now it's been over a month and I haven't heard back at all. I am moving on to a different insurance agency because I'd like to see the options before my policy expires in September.

Prior to today I was a customer, in good standing, with A-Affordable Ins. Over the past two months I've encountered more than 3 reasons or incidents that would cause me to do my insurance business elsewhere. But, to keep things short and sweet, I will describe the last and final "Straw that Broke the Camels Back!" My plan for the end of last week was to meet and speak with, in person, an Ins Agent at the local branch in my area. Because I had some questions and wanted to make a change to my policy. Which would mean more money for them. I also figured I could pay next months bill early, since I'd be there anyway. Now let me mention that I'm Handicapped and have to use a walker to get around. And I refuse to resort to a wheelchair as that would cause my condition to deteriorate and weaken my ability to ambulate. So needless to say the whole task of going to the place is a big difficult production for me. Determined, I go and arrive at my Insurance Co. and go inside where there are 2 customers sitting staring at the wall. The place is packed with employees. Some on the phone and some on computers. But none are seeing customers. After 12mins of being ignored, I ask if there is someone that I can speak with and pay my premium. I'm told that they don't have walk-ins for payments and such...which doesn't make sense because 2weeks ago I was able to walk-in, get in line and pay my bill. So I ask, "how can I make this payment?" I was told to never bring cash, only use money order, check, or debit. So I had a money order for them already. Not One of them answered me. So I took a number and waited some more. After another 15mins or more I asked, "is someone going to help me?" Once again, I was ignored. I stood in disbelief for about 5mins before I finally decided enough was enough and left. That was my third and final attempt at forcing them to take my money.
I know this info should be on their review site but I wanted to show the dramatic difference between them and what I found by leaving them and going to Mainstream Insurance at #704 Southbridge St in Worcester, MA.
Now keep in mind at A-Affordable, I was an existing customer. At Mainstream I was brand new to them. Immediately I was acknowledged by an extremely polite and professional agent named Aeron. She attentively listened to my situation and experience. She agreed that the treatment I was receiving was unprofessional and outright bad. She also informed me that they could possibly give me a better rate. This intrigued me because my previous insurer told me that I was getting the lowest possible rate with all kinds of discounts. After a brief amount of time to calculate and prepare a quote, she floored me by saving me hundreds of dollars! Then Aeron explained what we needed to do for me to switch. Which was a "No Brainer." Again I was shocked at how easy it would be that I even thought I must be missing something. She assured me that I wasn't. While we made the switch, I even met an Agent of the Company Tom. He was very nice and seemed generally concerned at my issue. He reassured me that mine was not an isolated incident. Sometimes businesses get too big for their own good and lose the concept of, the customer is #1. And in the process we become just another number or a dollar amount. Personal service was all but lost until I went to and did business with Tom and Aeron at Mainstream Insurance. Before our business concluded, I was given some cool swag. A couple of real nice writing implements, a Document Holder, and a Keyring Flashlight. So in summation, Treated Great, Saved Hundreds, Simple Process, got More Coverage and Swag to boot! Plus I met some cool people, Thanks Mainstream!
...take my advice, It's Time to go Mainstream.

This is my first time getting insurance and I had no idea what I was doing, I wanted to get the lowest but safest option and that was clearly and very pleasantly given to me with various other options.
