AGC fosters exceptional growth. I have gained so much more than I ever expected from my first job after graduating from college. Having the opportunity to work closely every day with a CEO is something for which I will always be grateful, and it is inspirational how hands on Ben Howe works with employees at all stages in the company. He cares about helping people achieve success on both professional and personal levels. AGC is the perfect environment for people who like to push themselves and aim high, and the partners work endlessly to help every employee reach their full potential. The culture that AGC has created adds a new dimension to how we are all able to function together as a team, really getting to know each other so that we work most effectively as a company, across all departments. I feel very lucky to have found a rigorous workplace that continues to push me to do my best, as well as have fun and create lifelong bonds with others at the company.

AGC has provided me with a great summer internship experience. Being in-office this summer has been very beneficial to my ability to learn about this industry and what it takes to succeed. Ben and the whole AGC team have gone out of their way to ensure we are getting the most out of our time here, gaining the skills necessary to be successful. Weekly after-work events with the entire team are also a huge benefit and very fun to be a part of. I recommend this to all willing to work hard and be a part of a motivated and tight-knit team.

For me, AGC provided an extremely insightful and productive internship experience. I was given a constant work flow from Analysts, Associates, Partners, and even the CEO. Everybody in the firm showed great appreciation for the work that was completed and provided constructive criticism in a productive way that helped me learn from my mistakes.

One thing about the program that I found particularly great was that the firm assigns each intern a mentor (typically an Analyst at the firm). Throughout this internship, my fellow interns and I built strong relationships with our respective mentors which continued to promote the strong, tight-knit work environment that the firm tries to encourage through all levels.

I found AGC to be an exceptional work environment to get an experience in Investment Banking and the internship program itself helped me grow immensely as a person.

There’s no question that AGC encourages rapid growth and an intense sense of community among its team members. The company demands a high level of dedication and attention to detail in everything that you do, while providing the resources and access to knowledge necessary to create a work product that you can be proud of.

I have been at AGC for over half a year now, and have learned and developed more than I ever imagined possible not only as an employee but as a person in general. I feel that I have become incredibly independent and resourceful as a result of the atmosphere provided by AGC, and the support that you receive from working at a small company like this is unparalleled. As an administrative assistant with a strong interest in marketing, I have been able to take on way more marketing responsibilities than expected in my first year here which is a testament to the fact that AGC quickly recognizes and rewards passion and solid performance.

Our CEO is interacting with the analysts, interns, PMs, partners and operations team on a daily basis, and team outings and events are constantly being planned to facilitate bonding and personal relationships among all levels of the company. I could not have asked for a better first job out of college and will always be grateful for the experiences and friendships I am gaining here at AGC.

AGC Partners is a wonderful environment to learn and grow in as a professional. I'm currently an intern and can say that all the analysts are intelligent and willing to thoroughly explain tasks in order for you to learn the process better if you don't already know what you're doing. From what I see, there is plenty of room for growth here at AGC as they are heavier with analysts than they are with Associates/VPs. This creates an environment that allows analysts to really dive into deals with their Project Managers and learn at a higher level than analysts at other companies. The CEO at AGC is a tremendous guy and is extremely engaging with the rest of the employees. Even as an intern I got tremendous exposure to the CEO by working on deals and projects with him. The office has a family feel to it with tons of get-togethers inside and out of the office. I would highly recommend working at AGC if you are looking to learn a lot and grow as a professional at a fast pace.

I joined AGC as an Associate after 3.5 years of tech banking at a much smaller boutique in order to get greater exposure and advance my career with a well-known platform for mid-market tech M&A. I’ve gotten a ton of experience in my first year with the firm, have closed three high profile deals, and built a global network within tech and private equity. Our deal teams run lean, which means I’ve had to own a lot of my own growth and have had plenty of opportunities to punch above my weight class.

The team and the culture has been supportive as I’ve acclimated to the pace and intensity of AGC. The partners are highly accessible, and several have taken a personal interest in my development. The analysts I work with are smart, motivated, and eager to jump in with high quality work product. I’ve had the opportunity to work under partners who bring experience from top firms like Lazard, Jefferies, and Lehman Brothers, and have seen our former analysts go on to be successful at top MBA programs and PE shops such as KKR, Silver Lake, Providence, Summit and many more.

My professional growth at AGC has been based on merit, and I have been given plenty of opportunity to learn quickly and advance much faster than expected. Early into my time with the firm, I was tasked with managing critical points in the process on one of our largest deals. Off the back of a successful outcome for the client and for our firm, I was promoted to VP within my first year at AGC. All in all, I got the caliber of experience and the work hard, play hard environment I was looking for, and then some.

AGC stimulates significant personal and professional development. In a welcoming, tight-knit, and high-energy environment, I never had a low day due to their people and community values. Transparent, respectful, and generous, my coworkers, from the CEO to interns, were great to be around. That theme rang true for each member regardless of status or background. This made everyone feel included and comfortable and led to a very enjoyable work space. As a result, I built some very valuable relationships.

Due to that strong community, despite consistent deal flow, there was always an opportunity to stop, talk, and learn as a team, so everyone was on the same page and could keep moving towards our goals. Leadership took responsibility in training each member of the team to keep everyone growing and confident in their abilities. This facet was awesome and something I hadn't seen before. Upper-level management was always approachable, friendly, and honest, too.

As a microcosm for the whole operation, the CEO, and Partners as well, would, at least once a day, walk around, cracking jokes with the group, before stopping at one member's desk to help work through a problem he/she was struggling with. This was great and emphasized our team mentality.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with or more thankful for my experience at AGC.

I could not have asked for a better experience at AGC. As an intern, you undergo rigorous training sessions throughout the program that help hone your technical, analytical, and writing skills. In addition, AGC pairs you up with a mentor who provides you with an enormous amount of deal and research work. The mixture of research work and live deals allowed me to deep dive into the various sectors of technology as well as delve into the meat of a deal, providing me with invaluable experience. I highly recommend interning at AGC Partners.
