I can not say enough great things about Felix Betro and his outstanding team. They are my business baby sitters that handle my needs to perfection. I submitted all of my tax documents to Betro and Company by their internal deadline, expecting things to move forward as planned. About a week before the April 15 filing deadline, I was informed that my return wouldn’t be completed in time and that they would be filing an extension instead.

I understand that this time of year can be overwhelming for accounting firms, and I was willing to be flexible. However, after receiving that notice, I followed up with a simple email to Lou Moore and Gary Blumenthal asking for an estimate of what I should pay to avoid penalties and interest. I never received a response.

I don’t think my request was unreasonable, just a basic estimate to make sure I stayed in good standing. The lack of follow-through was disappointing, and not what I expect from a professional tax service.
