Completely ruined my hopes and many plans for retirement. Beware. Paul Welch had me too aggressively invested, even after my retirement in 2019. In June of 2022, I saw my retirement money disappearing quickly. Despite Regular emails to him begging him to reduce my risk, he always called and "talked me off the ledge" as the Secretary of State's office phrased it. He finally got tired of my emails and rather than simply reduce my risk accordingly for a retired person who took a lump sum distribution for a pension, he cashed me out. He lost over $250,000 of my retirement funds. On top of that, in 2016 he convinced me to "buy" this American Equity insurance 10 year Life Insurance policy. The interest rate was horrible. He received a nice commission for himself I later learned.
If you are nearing or in retirement, stay away from 93 Financial Group. It's not THEIR money they gamble with and lose. Don't buy into the "stay with your long term plan" rhetoric. That ship sailed when you retired.
