Chris gave me unwanted renters insurance at the wrong address. I emailed & texted and was told he took care of it (spoiler: he didn't and I was still charged the next month). I had to call the insurance provider to cancel and they did so without an early cancel fee bc of the paper trail I had with Chris showing it was unresolved.

READ BELOW IF NOTHING ELSE:

Then the true act of gross negligence or greedy maliciousness happened. Chris also put my auto insurance in the wrong zip code and a very expensive one at that. I was over paying $44 a month (plus the $13 in renters at the wrong address).

How did I find this out? I found a cheaper policy on my own and called the provider directly to cancel. They alerted me to Chris' error that was overcharging me 20% of my actual rate. I'm not going to accuse Chris of doing this on purpose, but surely the commission payout in an expensive zip code is higher than a lower one.

Chris probably thought I wouldn't notice, and I didn't until I really dug into why my bill was so high. Come to find out I wasn't crazy, I was overpaying 20% at in a zip code I wasn't even living in. WILD!! When I heard that, my jaw dropped. My insurance papers were mailed to the correct apt, so he did know my current address. It's just his error happened to align with a higher commission payment.

I can't believe he sits here with a 5 star rating. That makes me very skeptical to know if reviews are being removed (I'm certainly taking a screenshot just in case).

Chris Ladd, an insurance agent for Liberty Mutual, made my experience with Liberty Mutual an awesome one. He walked with me every step of the way with what was needed to be done and how.
