I hired this firm to prepare my 2020 taxes and they completely messes up on some of the basic elements of the prep and filing, costing me personally a significant amount of money and putting me at risk of being flagged for an audit. For example, upon written request and confirmation from them that the payments would not be made until May 17th 2020, I found tens of thousands of dollars pulled from my account one month earlier in April. Another example, I hired another firm to prepare for 2021, and they were looking back at the 2020 filing and told me that Doucette made another significant error and did not file for me as Head of Household even though they had in their possession the previous years filings where I was Head of Household. Again, I was told, sorry, not sure how we made that mistake. If you want accurate filings, I would recommend, based on this experience to stay away from Doucette & Doucette.
