Went for concert. Was perfect. Seats were a little small but still not to bad. The sound was great the seating arrangement was even better. Truly there was no bad seat in the house. Pretty decent size not to big or small and even though it was packed it was easy getting in and out and sitting down and leaving ect...

Pretty good concert and show venue. It’s midsize inside so most seats feel like a great view of the artist or performer you are there to see. The sound system is great. There’s tons of parking garages nearby with different prices but can make it convenient if you want to drive there. Ride share is typically also an option. They have a concessions inside to grab food and multiple bar areas though the drinks can be very pricey. I paid between $24-$37 for a drink which felt highly overpriced even for a venue. This was the main issue. Security was quick, at least for the concert I went to. They had a bag policy but they were not enforcing clear bags so I think if you just have the right size you can be okay. Definitely an older venue so it had some broken equipment to the side which made it not look as nice but overall an okay venue.

I’ve been attending concerts at Arizona Financial Theatre since it opened in 2002. It was named the Dodge Theatre at the time and changed its name to Comerica Theatre in 2009. In these days of venues selling naming rights, causing the venue to change names every so often, my friends and I still refer to this place as Dodge Theatre so we all know which place we’re talking about. The venue has a seating capacity of 5000. Sometimes, events are not expected to attract enough people to fill all the seats, so the sections on the ends are closed off from access.
I’ve seen many epic concerts here over the years and look forward to seeing many more. Security does a thorough job screening people before entrance and the staff has always been friendly and easy to work with. Like most concert/sporting venues, there is a policy allowing people to bring a small clear bag inside. Concession prices are sky-high, but that’s consistent with sporting events and concerts/shows at other venues. Don’t be surprised if there are people standing in front of their seats during a performance instead of sitting down. Sometimes, you’ll have the misfortune of being seated behind the only people who are standing during the performance. While this prevents you from seeing the stage or forces you to stand as well, you shouldn’t hold it against someone else who is so into the act they’re seeing that they don’t notice that they are distracting others.
The sound at concerts is loud and clear, but a lot depends on how well the person running the mixing board does their job. This is a good venue for concerts and I recommend it to anyone looking for a concert venue this size.

Great show, Switchfoot is still as good as ever. Miss the days touring alongside them. The venue is nice for sure. I have seen a few shows here. Could definitely use a good cleaning too. You see garbage hidden behind seats. But no one is perfect. Staff was pleasant and services were quick and efficient.

My favorite music venue. I’ve seen Yellowcard and Two Door Cinema Club there, and even scored upgrade VIP tickets for Sleep Token. The employees are top notch friendly and helpful, and I always feel safe when visiting. The venue itself is always extremely clean and the sound and view (from my various seats) has always been on point. Which, by the way, the prices have always seemed reasonable for, and it’s nice to have a seat as needed or between sets. (I love being able to kickback with a hot dog as needed, lol.) Makes for a much more enjoyable experience overall. Parking is easy, too! I prefer to come to this venue over the others in town. Can’t wait to go back! ?

On September 16th I went to this venue for a concert that day. And the artists I saw was DPR Artic, DPR Cream, and DPR Ian for their tour called The Dream Reborn world tour 2024. I got there at 7:09pm line was super long but fast paced literally. And show started about 8:01pm like it said on seat geek! But honestly I’m coming back to this venue for more future concerts and performances.

I recently did some stage set up work in the old Dodge Theater, now Arizona Financial Theater and was blown away by the sound of the concert preformed. I recall seeing Alicia Keys preform in 2010 and it was just as awesome. Not a bad seat in the house and the artist are literally right in front of you.

I favor this venue over many others! There really isn't a bad seat in the house, even if you're up a little higher. The way this place has its layout, you get a good and (mostly) unobstructed view anywhere you sit. Their food and drinks are pricey just like any other venue, but they do have good eats and drinks! Staff is usually good at what they do, get you in the venue quickly and safely, and are available to help you find your seats.
