very unprofessional and rude. My 65 year old mother went there to ask for assistance on her new auto loan and they were very rude with her showing no minimum respect. i felt disgust when she called me crying telling me that they were being rude.

THE WORST BANK EVER! Not only are the staff useless and rude, they refused to give me my account number after I gave and verified all of my information. They told me it's wrong and they can't edit and fix it. Let's add they never answer the phone and can't help anyone in person. They told me to call the dealership to get bank information... Save yourself the headache and go ANYWHERE else.

I am beyond frustrated and stressed from this bank . I am living in Florida , and I called to have a check sent from my account in the Framingham location out to my address in Florida. I called and did this on September 22. It is now October 10th, well over the 5-7 business days I was told I was going to receive my check. After all of this time and several phone calls to metro to see where the heck my check is , today I received a statement showing that 2000 dollars has been taken from my account . However, I did not receive a check with my money. Where is my 2000 dollars and where is the customer service. I really need MY MONEY , and they have failed at every turn. I am going to be leaving this awful bank as soon as possible . I expect to have my money expedited to my address after this horrible experience . At this point I feel like someone from metro credit union has stolen from me . UPDATE- this keeps getting better . After everything I finally get in touch with someone and they tell me they can talk to their manager about getting the check overnighted , but they want me to pay the fee ! Are you kidding ! I’m waiting almost a month for a check I really need , metro messed up and didn’t do their job correctly and now they want me to pay for them to fix it . Absolutely not . I need to speak to someone in charge immediately and I need my check .

Have had all good experiences with online and on the phone and talking one on one at my branch. Just remember that the person you speak to didn't build or install the computer that has messed up. Just be nice🙂.

The Framingham branch seems to be closed for indoor services very frequently. I would suggest that a sign be put up near the drive through and not just on the front door of the building that reads “all services being done through drive through, please be patient” or something similar so that people understand that things that should be taken care of inside and that may take about ten minutes are not just customers being lazy and going through drive through. I had a man beeping his horn and screaming at me and I felt very unsafe during my transactions with the teller through drive through. I closed my accounts with this bank because of how difficult it is to work with, including online services.

This branch has to be the worst of all. They make it a point to profile you all the time. Ask you to repeat your name, date of birth and address even when you present a REAlL ID. They are very rude all the time. There is a particularly unhelpful older gentleman who makes it feel like he is doing you a favor trying to get your money out.there

This branch is a big tar on the Metro Credit Union brand. The same week I went to the West Roxbury branch and my phone number which is the same since I opened the account was enough to identify me.

STOP stressing people out.

I really did not want to leave a review, because I don't think they are particularly helpful... you bank where you bank. But I hope this message gets back to the teller/banker. I went in on Nov. 3 seeking assistance. The female teller with dark hair was extremely rude and off-putting right from the jump. I have never experienced such awful service, and considering I was in there dealing with the aftermath of my father's death made the whole situation so much worse. I hope she sees this and thinks of others before projecting her miserable attitude onto people.

Metro Credit Union has really gone downhill over the years. Their new online banking system is difficult to use and we've had so many issues over the last year.

Things they've messed up in the last 6 months:

1. Switched banking systems which caused all pre-scheduled mortgage payments to get deleted. I got marked as not paying my mortgage.
2. They charged me a late payment fee.
3. The next month, they pulled money *twice* in one transaction, leaving my account balance dangerously low.
4. Corrected their error and removed the late fee, but this month I discovered they reported a late payment to a credit bureau - which caused an 80 point drop on my credit score. (Even though they had admitted it was an error in their system.)
5. Took 6+ months to process a mortgage refinance application. (We abandoned the application and went elsewhere. We closed within 2 months.)
6. Any messages I've sent through their online web portal get no reply. My outbound message just gets archived by their team.
7. Phone lines are always busy. Expect to be on hold for a long time.

The staff at the Framingham branch is friendly and mean well, but I feel like their ability to help is bound by a messy system. Metro's corporate team needs to reevaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their business.

Go up
