Received a letter for a dinner for two guests. Signed up and got a confirmation. Then I get a phone call saying I am not yet confirmed and would need to contact. I called and left voice mails this was a week before the event. I had a baby sitter scheduled and made plans accordingly for the event. The DAY OF I received text and email which stated the event was full and basically a better luck next time situation. I understand things fill up but the lack of follow through and communication is absurd considering I would leave a message and an automated phone call would come to me saying I needed to confirm still. That is what I was trying to do. Not sure how the process works but people like myself are falling through the cracks.

A scam!
Received an invite called Exclusive Invitation with topic: How to protect yourself from a tax storm. I registered myself plus 1 guest. Traveled outside of the country and paid for unlimited phone calls and text messages. Paid thousands $$$$ to return early to attend this event - flew away from family members! Upon return just 3 days before the event I received a text that they tried to reach me to confirm and were NOT successful so they GAVE my reservation to someone else! My guest also forfeited plans for this evening and I have to tell her this was all a big FRAUD. No one tried to reach me by text to confirm. No one tried to reach me by phone to confirm. After searching through thousands of spam emails, I finally found a request to contact them to confirm what was already reserved ages ago. What a bunch of liars. In order to reserve, they required my phone number my email and I can’t remember everything else. No effort to let me know upfront that they would be sending an email requesting a confirmation. These people are scammers. There were topics that were very interesting and I would’ve liked to learn.
Specifically - How the 2024 presidential election could impact your retirement. Also, preserving your estate and protecting your assets. Also, A big change to the US tax code is coming at the end of the year are you ready? Also, critical tax estate planning and investment questions/issues affecting your ability to retire in the lifestyle you deserve.
How on earth could anyone trust these folks if they start out a relationship telling lies? If they were serious about contacting me, they would’ve sent me a text and also also called me. They definitely knew how to text me to say that the capacity was full. I was already accepted weeks ago. I smell a rat. I would never be able to trust them again! Zero integrity! Who could trust them?
