A tree fell on my home within months of purchasing it, and Providence Mutual was still quick to respond, support and deliver! Matt was quick to show up to our home to evaluate, showed he was understanding, was very informative of the process and followed up when necessary. It was hard to find a home insurance company that was affordable and I am so glad I found Providence Mutual; not just for their affordability, but also for the customer service I received!

Terrible Company. We have had Providence for 4 years on a property and paid their ever rising premiums. When we had a valid claim, validated by a license contractor, due to weather damage, they denied the claim. They initially sent out a "licensed contractor" to indicate that the roof was already failing. We then provided evidence that the roof is 3 years old and the damage was due to weather and not from the roof itself. They then apologized for this mistake, sent another "engineer" over who indicated it is due to a vent. No vents have every been repaired, only the roof, and there is no longer leaks. So, Providence, please ask your engineer, if it is the vent, wouldn't we be seeing leaks non-stop? Now, I am taking them to Court.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Kim Vincent she was so friendly, patient, kind and compassionate in helping me with my claim. It was such an overwhelming situation but Ms. Vincent spoke to me like she knew me for 20 years and it was all via phone and email. I told Ms. Vincent she has a special gift. Might be the worst insurance carrier around. We had severe storm damage to our roof and initially this company paid out $2500 because their "expert" said so. I then started fighting and they sent their "roofer" who said the entire roof needed to be replaced. But still, Providence Mutual fought me. After months of fighting, they finally increased the payout, but it still wasn't enough to cover the replacement.

Difficult from the very beginning. They sent an inspector to look at my house which is fine. I was in the process of installing new siding on my house. I was doing the work myself since I own a roofing siding company. Next thing you know I get a cancelation notice and they give a couple weeks to finish the siding. I complied with there demands and got the siding completed in there time frame.
I also have a second floor deck that I have not finished . It has no stairs and the only access is from the second floor bedroom. I removed the door handle so the only way to open the door is with an Allen wrench. Any way now they are cancelling me because of a” liability on the second floor deck”. WELL SEE YOU LATER PROVIDENCE!! How stupid are you ? Cancel the guy that statistically is the least likely to make a claim. I can do any repair on my house myself. Good luck to anyone using this company !!

Several years ago my hot water heater exploded and my basement got 6 inches of water. Serve pro was there in hours and the adjuster arrived the next day. Not only was my basement cleaned up but I received compensation for the loss of furniture and other items. I was able to use the insurance money to repair the walls of the finished part of the basement. I was very pleased with the care I received. Inaddition last yearly car was damaged in a parking lot and your company took care of everything. Thank you
