I recently closed on my house in a very competitive market and I could not have been happier with the process due to the confidence I had in Marivi. She had such patience with me and was so proactive, knowledgeable, and forthright that at no point was I truly worried about not finding my house eventually! With the current Seller's market and all the complexities of real estate, it is extremely difficult to be shopping for a home right now. However, having Marivi Garrison as my Buyer's Agent really made all the difference as I searched for a home the past few months. Working with Marivi has been such a pleasure!! She worked incredibly hard for us. Throughout this journey of our first home purchase, Marivi instilled herself as a trusted advisor, a coach, and now a life long friend. We changed realtors mid-way through our search and what a true blessing Marivi was for us! It was truly night and day. Her professionalism and knowledgeable approach to the home search was well thought out, proactive, and intentional. She spent the first few weeks of our search identifying our wants and needs, often going into homes unprompted to video chat with us in order to help nail down what we liked and disliked. This proved to be very helpful. Marivi has a great network of individuals that helped along the way when we had questions around issues, repairs, and home improvement. In several cases, these individuals were only a quick call away from being on site to inspect or quote something that we had inquired about.

I would like to note that while some agents may try persuade you into a home in order to get a quick sale and move on, Marivi did not. She insisted that we move on from several homes because she knew that we would be conceding on what we truly wanted. Her approach is not to sell you but rather be a consultant for you in one of the largest purchases of your life. This meant a lot to us.

Ultimately after searching for months in this very stressful, seller’s market, Marivi found the perfect home for us, with all that we wanted, and well in our price range. By the time the house presented itself, Marivi knew precisely that it was the one for us. The contract was written promptly, presented, and ratified within a day!

What started out as looking for a short term rental turned into finding and buying an amazing home. Marivi Garrison is the reason it happened. Originally, although she doesn’t do rentals, she was going to help us navigate the rental market. With her information and advice, we soon figured out that we’d be better off buying a home.
Marivi was the best possible realtor for us. In no particular order, here are some of the things we really liked about working with her. 1) Her responsiveness- She was very prompt in answering emails, texts, and calls. If she wasn’t available she would acknowledge the message and let us know when she could reply. 2) Her patience - We really had no clue about what we wanted or exactly where we wanted to be. Her skillful questioning and sharing of homes helped us figure it out. 3) Her persistence- She scoured the listings for strong possibilities, encouraged us to fine-tune our wish list, and worked tirelessly with us. 4) Her expertise - Not only does she know the real estate market but she also knows construction. Most of the time we were doing virtual tours with her and she could answer my husband’s picky technical questions as well as spot issues we might not notice.
Then we found the perfect house and she really spring into action! She did a walk-through with us, crafted a very strategic offer, and in less than 24 hours our offer was accepted. She is now guiding us through the rest of the purchase process.
