Langley is very good at getting over on people. Do not trust them. They say they work with all dealers for buy backs but they don't. Priority offered 13k and they said they don't work with them but only CarMax and says CarMax will pay the same so we said ok and took it there and dropped it off. Well CarMax paid 5k not 13k and left us with a massive negative balance. We would never sold it for 5k nor took it there for 5k. They completely got over on us then tried to charge us an additional 2k for insurance on a truck we didn't have. Then they took the money from my finances aunts account who has nothing to do with us. This place is the biggest joke with tons of bad reviews and all are true. I wouldn't trust Langley for anything!!! You've been warned!!! Now we are letting the news investigate this. Save your sanity and deal with anyone but Langley and CarMax together. They are cheating people bad.

This is my the company that’s lending my new car. I attempt to pay my bill on the site as that’s apparently the only way you can pay. Not only did I have trouble with the website. The customer service was a joke! Not able to assist me and not even able to provide a reference or case number for my call?! What!

today I had an appointment where I sat and waited for 40 minutes watching several people go infront of me. They even told me someone would be right with me and they took someone else. I had together back to work. When I told a worker I had to go. They just stood and looked at me. No response or apology.

My father passed away August 26th 2024. He had a checking account with my name added to it. Langley would not let me access his account with out a death certificate. They told me once I got that they would let me get into the account. He worked and I took care of him in the animals. I'm disabled but not on disability. So I have no income. When I went in with the death certificate to get some money out of the account for food I was told to wait. So I did for 30 minutes until I was brought into an office and told that the account has been closed and they have taken all the money because my dad had a loan with the bank. I left there with nothing. And it has set me on a road to fail ever since. Without any money I've had to use my credit cards to the max just to survive. And now I'm about to lose the house and there's nothing I can do about it. I would have at least had enough money to survive on while I worked on getting the money for house payments. Instead I had to scrounge up everything I could to eat and take care of the animals and power bill and water bill and everything else. My dad has been with that bank since the very beginning and I have as well. I just can't believe I was lied to. I should have just taken the money out with cash app but I was trying to do things the right way. Kendall Leach

There is something wrong with this credit agency, don’t know if it’s management or just idiotic practices moreover—I am currently paying a loan for my vehicle which is currently in good standing and I have never missed a payment for my truck and my account is being reported as delinquent! Warning to those who do business here, get out from under them or avoid getting a loan through them. At least their customer service is nice and respectful.

Additionally, I had a CPI placed upon me for lapse of coverage, which it never did (entirely different issue.) but Langley told me not to worry about it. Misleading and lack of communication, caused a significant ding to my credit score, which to their credit may have not been entirely their fault but they still mis-led me.

TLDR;

Customer service will tell you one thing but the company will do another…
