By far one of the worst and most unprofessional title service providers I have seen in my many year’s of conducting real estate transactions in WA. Way to many internal restrictions compared to what is allowable and acceptable by state and federal law, especially when it comes to Power of Attorney’s. If you aren’t living right next door to them, good luck trying to get anything done remotely without a headache. Much of their issues appear to also stem from contracting with underwriters that also lack remote processing capabilities or have their own internal restrictive requirements as to which companies they will accept a remote POA from, even though the remote notary and software program used is both licensed and approved by both the state and federal systems. Let’s just say that multiple POAs have been provided to this organization now, each being legally acceptable under state and federal law, even acceptable by the county, yet none of them were accepted by this organization. Whenever I attempted to explain the situation and explain that the document is legal under law, it either didn’t matter to them, placed the blame elsewhere, or rudely responded as the customer not following their instructions when it is the law that the customer is really obligated to follow. Will be avoiding this company for all future transactions and I would recommend you do the same.
