I went in to get 2 rolls of quarters… Quartzsite town you need a lot of quarters. They refused me service because I was not a member. As far as I know there is no. Other bank or credit union in town.. nearest one in Parker some 30 miles away. They are not helping the town…businesses. I was going to do laundry and buy water My laundry mat did not have a workable coin machine out of quarters.. I will always tell everyone they are a terrible bank credit union!

As a member I rarely ever have any issues associated with my account. Everything I need in a bank account is an option here which is nice: Zelle, online/mobile banking, mobile deposit, checks and debit card (the CU donates to the organization for the design of the card I have and even the debit card offers cash back rewards), lots of loan options, low interest credit cards with all kinds of perks, good rates on savings accounts and CDs!
It's nice having a financial institution in such a small town especially one that fulfills all my banking needs. We hear a lot about how others wish there were other options, but realistically what other bank would be open to servicing our area? I always say if that's what you want then go talk to the bank you want to bank with and see if they'll open a branch out here, it's not like the CU has a monopoly on the town.
Credit Unions are different than banks so the conversion was stressful, because no one likes change. All in all, considering the immense changes, it's been great.
Every business faces it's own challenges and they all do the best they can out here. Great people at a great organization, everything they do is much appreciated!

I am leaving this review after a frustrating attempt to access the website for online banking as a new member. AFCU verification process is inadequate due to lack of adequate number of options to provide verification. Only knowing your last few account transactions is accepted. As I used my card a couple of weeks ago and the receipts have been discarded I was unable to verify. My other credit union. Affinity Federal Credit Union Basking Ridge NJ knows how to do it. They have multiple reliable options set up such as multiple verification questions. Always easy. Arizona Financial might want to take a lesson. Sadly “Trish” rallied to defend the poorly done member verification process. Smh. Do better Arizona Financial. you can do it if you wish.

Lowest score I can give unfortunately. This bank is a joke. The tellers are clueless how to work there jobs. They do not keep there promised appt times ( even after sending 6 REMINDERS to be on time) then you only hear snarky comments like I need to go home. Ughhh , very unprofessional. Then when they get confused on there own damn job they lock your account of suspicion. I feel sorry for anyone who banks here with these CLUELESS girls running it. 100% glad the accounts are now closed here. Freaking joke.
