From reading several other reviews, I know I should ask to work with Ashley instead of Alexis from now on. Alexis was never rude, but quite confused about writing two new policies for us. She called several times after I told her I would be busy and asked her to just send me the quotes. She sent the quotes, which I looked at last night. I called this a.m. She was on the phone, so I left a detailed message about what I wanted. When she returned my call, she had no idea what my call was about. She stated that she had sent me the quotes yesterday and I hadn’t answered. I explained that the office was closed by the time I looked at the quotes last night. She then proceeded to ask questions I had answered yesterday after spending a lot of time on the phone with her. We have been with Progressive for many years. We recently moved from out of state. It broke my heart to have to leave my former agent.

I thought maybe Alexis was new at the job, but it appears from other reviews that she’s been there long enough to be familiar with the system, and to be able to my questions. Instead, she said, “I’m pretty sure…”. When I asked her to make sure, it took a few minutes, but she did find the answer. When I’m insuring two vehicles, two trailers, and a house, I don’t want to hear, “I’m pretty sure…”. I would prefer not to work with her from now on
