The people who work on the front lines are top notch They are beautiful, kind, helpful and overall present as genuine/descent humans. The challenge and issue is in the Avenir banking system. Once you have money in a checking account, there is no system in place to connect with other ententes to pay bills or otherwise engage in modern banking. Antiquated banking is your only option and in-person interactions, cash withdrawals, in one of 3, only open Monday through Friday 9 to 5 locations to transfer money to other banks who allow virtual payment is you only recourse. Please get with the times, Avenir and connect with the rest of the world.

Not my bank, only for managing parents account. Went in today to ask to them take me out of their mailing list because they"re charging fees just to print a statement.send home. One gentlemen helped me I had to upload the app to do this. Uploaded app, werent able to solve issue...
I told him I don't want upload an app, you cannot do it ?!
Don't bank here !!! Take your money somewhere else !!!

The ATMs never work and there's always fees for transactions. Recently deposited money and there was an error and never gave me my money back. Worst bank in Yuma.

AEA Bank is not very reliable in their customer service provided. I made an appointment because I have visited multiple times to open an account, waiting three weeks for my new debit card, and to unlock my checking account. I wait thirty minutes past my appointment time until I walk up to the teller desks. Israel was awesome! Very cooperative and helpful. I recommend him a lot. The teller desks there are more useful than personal appointments i believe because whenever I go in to this bank the employees just distracted with side conversation.

DO NOT BANK HERE. Clerks will LIE directly to your face. Went in one Friday and cashed a check. Clerk gave me all of amount of check.. I specifically asked "Oh, you don't charge fees to cash a check?" She said no. I explained that when it was AEA they charged. She said Avenir doesn't. Cool. Went in today and was told there was a fee. I asked why their employee said there wasn't any. They said "it's because she's new." Told them that was a they problem not a me problem. I'm good with following rules, as long as the rules don't change on the clerks whimsy.

Waited over a year for a new debit card after being told numerous times that it would only take a month or two at most. Eventually gave up on this effort and this bank as a whole. You should do the same.

Edit: after seeing this review they gave a me a new card finally with expedited delivery. Props for that

Opened account, was told my card would arrive in 7-10 days. Never came. I called and 1st lady told me it was never ordered. She said I had to call another department though. Called that department and found out it was collections, weird. Both collections lady and I were confused, but she said she’ll transfer me back since she can’t help me. She never did. So I hung up and called back. 3rd lady said my card was reported stolen. I explained the previous situation and she just kept saying it’s stolen.closing today. Don’t open an account here.
