Nothing but nonstop harassment. They threaten to tow cars for nothing other than "management reasons", meanwhile contractors use every one of our alloted parking spaces. They fine us daily if a trash can is sitting in our own driveway. We were planning on actually buying a second home from Lennar in December, but their business relationship with Claggett has put the nail in that coffin.

This company isn't interested in the well-being of the communities they're supposed to be managing. They only police the residents to such a level of harassment it will effect your day to day. One star is far too good for them. They should not be allowed to operate anywhere. This kind of behavior feels like it has to be illegal.

Manager MELISSA THOMSON is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL she doesn’t answer calls and she doesn’t return calls! They lied too! Zero star to this Women! Oh and she loves to charge late fees! terrible HOA!!!

My interactions with Clagett Management has been overwhelmingly positive. I made suggestions for improving our subdivision after purchasing a home there, a few were acted upon within a few months which I greatly appreciated. I also submitted several requests for home improvements within the first year, all were approved unanimously within the 30 day response period. My many interactions with the company via email were answered within the same day or reasonable time period. My phone calls were always answered and those whom I spoke with were courteous and professional. Regarding parking on the street, I inquired about a strongly worded notice they circulated and was reassured they were targeting repeat, disrespectful offenders and not those with emergency or temporary circumstances. Despite parking my vehicles on the street temporarily for a day or so and that of family members and friends, I’ve never encountered a problem with Clagett.

Erika Alsberry should study the laws regarding HOAs and what is allowed in the state of WV, she is clearly uneducated on them. Also, don’t give her the same respect she gives you, because then she will play victim. I’m ready to sell 100% because of her, she and Clagett are the only things bringing down our property value, I can guarantee I will NEVER buy in a development managed by them again.

I, as a homeowner, believe in there being an HOA. Don't get me wrong, I understand the principle of wanting to give the best impression of a housing development. However, there is a HUGE difference between an HOA and a person who rides around and looks at every little tiny detail and will issue a warning and or fine as their sole discretion. If your grass is 1/2" taller than what THEY think it should be, warning/fine. If your trashcan is out front for more than 24 hours, warning/fine. At this point, it is almost as if the person has nothing better to do than ride around and knit pick every single little detail, and it is getting to the point where I am ready to relocate because of how obsessive these behaviors have become. Not every little detail is going to be perfect every single day. Erika Alsberry, you should probably relax just a smidge.

They will charge you $25/day for working on your vehicle in your driveway for weeks without telling you until you get a $600 bill out of nowhere while you're waiting on a backordered part and then put a lien on your house if you try to fight it. Absolute trash company/employees. Now let's see if I get harassed after they read this. Despicable.
