They started spamming me about 6 months ago with invoices for someone else. I tried contacting them via email and phone multiple times. No response.

They continue to send me other people’s home addresses, and won’t return my messages.

Would you trust them with your money if they can’t even keep their own stuff working and respect their current customer’s privacy?

Edit: In response to this review I finally get a message. And they say “you have a common name” what are they doing, just guessing people’s email addresses? Come-on.

We've been using Robert to do our taxes for several years and we are very very satisfied. He's not your typical CPA - he's got a personality and a very dry sense of humor. But he knows his stuff and he's helped us a ton! We have a somewhat complicated tax situation coming up for fiscal year 2017 and he's helped us prepare ahead of time so it doesn't hit us over the head next year.

I used to have a chain company do my taxes and I'd pay as much for them as I pay to Double D. I think their pricing is in line with what you'd expect for more complicated taxes.

I started using DD Financial 6-7 years ago for personal taxes and now for my small business, too. Robert and Amy just... HANDLE IT. They're both razor sharp, responsive, knowledgable, honest, and patient (Amy especially). I've recommended them to several others and I'll continue to do so. Double D Financial has my trust and appreciation. It's such a relief to leave my taxes in their capable hands.

Worst Tax experience ever! We started a new business this year and I inquired with a friend, who also is a business owner, about who they use for taxes. Unfortunately they live in Portland so he wasn't that knowledgeable about who he might choose in the Auburn / Federal Way area, but he did know somebody. Regrettably that somebody was Robert and yes I went to him to have my taxes done. Worst tax mistake I ever made. Once he had "finished" our taxes he charged us ~$572 and told us we owe ~$4800 to the IRS. I knew right away that not only did he NOT do due diligence in interviewing us to gather all pertinent information, he made multiple mistakes on our tax forms. Because what he did was so blatantly incorrect, I took the "completed" tax forms that he generated to H&R Block for a second opinion. The outcome was a $415 return from the IRS - WOW, is about all I could say. I contacted Robert of Double D to get my money back for such poor performance and at first he said he would return my money, then when I contacted him to collect he told me he will not deal with me this week or ever. This was end of April and he still has not come clean. Don't waste your hard earned money only to receive poor performance and a lackluster approach to customer service unless you like getting screwed.

Update: IRS paid the difference as expected. The net positive difference when going to H&R Block after Double D Financial equated to nearly $5000 in our favor. Not sure about the rest of you, but that's a lot of money to us.

Robert of double d financial services has an excellent ad in Free! Coffee News with the best use of advertisement money I have seen within my lifetime ( since 1978). D2$ has convinced me he has the expertise in the field to guarantee satisfaction beyond the call of duty, despite the fact I'm not sure if double d himself(Robert) knows of the off hand sexual innuendo of his business name.

DO NOT use them!!!! As of today they have cost me over $2000.00 in fines and penalties. Not to mention I am paying another firm to correct their mistakes. They are taking NO responsibility for incorrectly filling out my 2019 forms. They are VERY unprofessional. Miss spelled my wife's name, put in wrong DOB and incorrect earning amounts in wrong columns then filed the extension wrong. Run RUN AWAY.. H&R block, Turbo tax, cousin Bob anything would be better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
