This is a pretty good health plan except for one very important flaw, that they don't seem to care about addressing it, acknowledging it or fixing the horrific issue... they put the ailing, ill, disabled patient thats calling in for a ride to the doctors office and then back home another call, they put us on hold for over and hour sometimes 2 or even 3 hours. Before they even answer. And many times they answer and immediately hang up, then another hour or two wait. I've missed many appointments and I've been stranded many times when needing a ride home from my medical provider! It's very very disturbing, disappointing and disparaging to say the least and frustrating! if it weren't for this one flagrant violation of patient rights, this plan would be top notch 5 stars....🤕🤧😷😵😢😓

I've never had issues with this insurance. Everything is usually great. My doctors have all left or passed away. The doctor I currently have at CMC West Ln is a joke. PHONE CALL APPOINTMENTS TO YOUR DOCTOR ARE A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!She was going over my bloodwork and said I have an auto immune disease with zero concern and when I asked her to explain more she said I need to make another appointment. Now I wait 3 weeks for her to explain to me what she could have already explained.

Their social workers have not clue of how to help seniors experiencing homelessness under their enhance care management. Total waste of time. Zero stars!

I have had health plan of San Joaquin for awhile and they have really tooken care of me and my needs. My podiatrist is awesome Dr Sandhu. I have had good luck with doctors at the San Joaquin hospital clinic.

Health, What a Laugh. Medical Insurance companies are DRUG PUSHERS, That's it. You don’t help anyone but yourself. All about money Not the Patients care. And doctors are right long side playing there games at the Patients expense. Since 2014 Still Haven't done anything for my Quality of life, Not 1 Thing. Meanwhile Quality of life Continues to Deteriorate, Still trying to figure it all out on my own. OUR MEDICAL INDUSTRY IS CRAP !

I was having issues coordinating my care and services for nearly a year. Frustrated and sick I utilized the greivence complaint process on there website not expecting anything to happen honestly. To my surprise they were investigating my complaints and provided me with documentation every step of the way. Mainly they had nurses on me relentlessly to ensure i was getting the care i needed and that is greatly appreciated and most helpful to me. I would definately recommend HPSJ they were fair and upheld honesty and integrity when I needed it most. Thank you hpsj👍
