received a check out of no where from this company, tried to call to find out what for. No one could help me, without getting all my info.

I offered them their check number, reference number, dates & their listed invoice numbers in regards to the check I received.

After telling me several times, they couldn't tell me what the check is for or why it was sent without first getting all my info, they just hung up on me.

research later reveals they are a scum bag company that ripped a bunch of people off. paying a large settlement. Luckily the the check is drawn off a local bank here, so i will just go there and cash it. At least they won't have access to my banking info.

For an Investment firm, they are the worst!!!! I wouldn't invest a penny with them at this point

The worst investment company ever. Do not put your money in this company. The customer service is horrible and if you want to move funds they will give you problems and you may need a lawyer to help you. Warning avoid them and find another company.

We've been investing with Cambridge for a long time now, and regret that we are preparing to fire them. We've had recurring issues with getting our 1099's out of them for filing our income taxes, and this has worsened as the years have passed. These are supposed to be sent (per IRS regulations) by January 31, but now at March 4 - still nothing. Cambridge is impossible to contact, and they have NEVER responded to written inquiries. We are now requesting assistance from the IRS with this issue. I suggest that everyone avoid this company at all costs - definitely not worth the hassle.
