Merced, CA 95340 16:45 hours 04/18/2025 at
Rental Zebra office. I asked her if she received my email alerting of a tree damaging window and foundation at a rental property
she manages.
I also asked her if her flooring contractor
Kevin passed my alert to her.
Instead of showing appreciation she accused me of trespassing at the property’s backyard which is impossible because the fence has no gate.
I reminded her that’s slander. Back in 2023
she accused me of trespassing and
painting the neighbor’s fence.
I emailed her The Good Neighbor Fence Act allows me to paint my side and would not paint neighbor’s side without written authorization and 50% payment. Rental Zebra is anything
but black and white should rebrand

The Rental Zebra team was extremely helpful in finding our new home. While we couldn’t even get other property management companies to answer an initial inquiry email, Danielle responded to every email/text right away, helped us thru the process, got us into the house quickly and checked on us after move in to make sure everything was good. Brittany was so friendly to meet with in the initial viewing and when we we received our keys. The communication with this team is top notch! My first experience with a home property management and it is a great one!

The rental team for Central Valley in California has a great team. From vetting to the move out stage it was a great experience. I appreciated the required inspections because it showed I took care of the house and property. If I couldn’t fix something, using the app to have maintenance come out was a breeze. Rental Zebra has thus far been decent to rent from minus a couple of things: getting ahold of someone via phone in the dallas market to have questions answered; being charged 150+ for new kitchen light bulbs that are ultimately sitting in my garage that I can't use bc the maintenance issue reported was with the light fixture itself and not the bulbs (sort of evident with what was reported), so being out $150+ is a little annoying; Not assisting with assuring the neighbors trees coming over into the yard are fully addressed - now comes over half way in the yard making it extremely hard for me to keep the gutters and yard cleaned up as winter approaches, but that's life and the people within it I suppose. Some of their contractors, like their AC guy, are thorough and honestly assess a situation and fixes it; others like the sink fixture guy (same who did my door when i first moved in and I now have to put another workorder in for the same issue, just patches, or places bandaids quickly to be done. I also fear my shower will need exactly what the same guy said it needed... I will need it in the future Im also sure, but he fixed it to be ok for now to avoid the work now. Take care of their property and for the most part they also take care of their residents when issues arise.
