I went in because I had a persisting sinuse infection. I had been treating for it 2 weeks previously. I ended up seeing Joel. He tried to explain what a sinus infection is. I said i have already heard that from my last doctor. Are you even going to check me? Instantly his demeanor changed. He left the room and came back 10 minutes later with a stack of papers. He said" since you wont listen to me can you read, can you read this? Mind you, I was sitting and he was standing. He was holding the half inch of print outs right infront of my face. I have never felt more like I was going to be hit in the face. I walked out crying my eyes out while he yelled at me down the hall " you're just mad because I wouldn't give you antibiotics ". I am a 40 year old women. Hardly ever go to the doctor. He treated me like I was a drug seeker.
It's been a few month, and I did file a claim. I still can't talk about what happened without crying. Go to St George. Anywhere besides Lake Powell Urgent Care!!!

Good experience today at the clinic. A doctor there was just the best example of care i have recieved lately, thorough and patient oriented (Even when i was cranky and in poor example myself.) As a person who generally avoids health care until the last option, it was nice to talk to a professional and real person.

Went in for antibiotics for a feral cat bite as I was told to do so from the animal shelter. I got unlucky twice that day, 1st was getting bit, and 2nd was getting Joel as a provider. He told me that I shouldn’t get on antibiotics for it because it could cause “CDI” and that because it was a small bite I wouldn’t need antibiotics.
If you get unlucky and get Joel, just walk out.

WHAT A JOKE! My boyfriend has been sick for two weeks and taking over the counter meds for symptoms. His mucus turned GREEN/YELLOW and was told to come back in 7 more days, after taking over the counter meds FOR TWO WEEKS.

Was on vacations. Waited less than 1 hour in the emergency unit. They were kind and the doctor took all the time required to deal with my case, doing his best.
I do recommend.
