Terrible terrible company to receive financing through! They take the money out of your account, post it and then say you’re late! When you call to talk to someone “it’s not their problem you didn’t wait a week to ensure it came out fully”. Even though it posted to my bank account and I got a confirmation email saying it was successful. Not to mention the outraged interest rates they conjure up with the dealership. Never am I using this scam of a business again, they are truly a joke and taking advantage of people who want to pay their bills on time!

I am beyond disappointed with Toyota Financial. I bought a car in January 2024 and have made it a point to make my payments ahead one month. I recently started getting collections calls from Toyota stating I have not made a month worth of payments. I checked with my bank and they confirmed the payments have been cleared, except it looks like Toyota is behind. So I call Toyota back and not only did I get transferred and have to verify my information each time. But they also said I have to fax proof of payments. Who has a fax anymore? The representative told me that was not their problem. So now I have to go to a UPS/US postal office to pay for printing and then pay for faxing. How is it my fault Toyota is understaffed or not working fast enough to process my payments and why should MY credit suffer?

I have had a horrible experience with Toyota financial. They are not military friendly at all. They have very little understanding of our ever changing schedule. Half of the documents they ask for I don’t understand why they need that information. The fact that I saw someone with the same exact problem as me leaves me to believe that Toyota financial will not change even with all of these negative reviews. My advice you if you are military do not finance through Toyota.
P.S some of the representatives we’re very helpful however most we’re not.

Shame on Toyota Financial Service. They are rude and pass you around to everyone, no one can give answers. The deficiency team is rude Levi and Ken. My car was a total loss and Toyota takes forever to pay there part which them they want to send your account to collections. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

SO RUDE AND A JOKE! they refuse to transfer you to someone who can help and will hold onto your pay off check until the last second. A check was sent froma dealership that paid off my truck and it's still active racking up late charges for over a month now. They are saying I have a work phone number on my account(which I dont)

I rarely leave bad reviews, but have been trying to get a lien authorization letter for over a month to ship my vehicle to Hawaii on PCS military orders and the complete incompetence and mismanagement by Toyota Financial Services should be a case study. I am 3 payments away from having my vehicle paid off and the title myself. Toyota has been so slow that this has delayed my ability to excite my PCS orders!

I hate Toyota Financial more than anything on this planet. I paid off my truck in 2021 and never got the title. I lived in CA and moved to AZ, and I can not get a license plate because there is a lien on my vehicle. Plot twist, I am the lien holder, but AZ DMV can not give me a license plate because there is a CA lien. I went to the CA DMV today and they can not release the lien without a letter from AZ DMV stating that they did not give me a title, which they can not do because of said lien. DO NOT FINANCE WITH TOYOTA FINANCIAL! They are incompetent and I have wasted way too many hours trying to get the title for my vehicle that I legally own, and have a lien on.

An absolute joke! As a dealer, we need to find out if a lien has been paid off or not. We don't need any other info, nothing private. TFS refuses to give us that info for absolutely no apparent reason!! Ridiculous policy that just makes doing business more difficult, and they do it for no reason!
