Absolute garbage company. I would never use this company if not literally forced to. They keep rejecting my insurance and telling me my 6 year old daughter is a leaseholder. this is 2 years in a row, same exact policy no changes to my lease or policy. I wish I could give negative stars.

I love having to dispute superfluous $14 dollar monthly charges that randomly pop up on my rent between this pos company and my apartment complex despite paying for private insurance. Garbage company, useless middlemen sucking on renters like leaches. Red flag for apartment complexes that use such a service.

This place is absolutely terrible. I will be reporting them to the insurance commissioner. My son is a college student and we have a separate policy for renters insurance and this popic feels the need to bill out of the blue whenever. I have emailed a copy of the policy to them at least 3 and the apartment complex 4 times and he has only lived here for a year. You try to call no one answers, so I call the apartment complex back and it takes them getting in touch with popic before I finally got a call back. Needless to say there is no telling how many college kids are getting double charged with personal policies and this joke of a companies policy charging them.

. My apartment complex called repeatedly, left messages on my behalf, and they never responded to their calls. Deeply unimpressed with customer service and find this company unethical to both residents and to the property owners they claim to serve. I would avoid complexes that use POPIC as a third party if possible.

Despite repeatedly sending in my policy, customer service refused to waive their monthly fee. I called my insurance company to verify the changes were there multiple times, but each time I resubmitted the policy for verification, I received the exact same copy/pasted email. POPIC felt very dishonest, especially when I confirmed with my insurance company REPEATEDLY to verify that the additional interests listed correctly. Even after multiple verifications, pleading emails, and repeated phone calls from my complex, I still received the same email.

A total scam of a company!! My landlord, Modera Mosaic in Fairfax Virginia, recently joined up with them. I have contacted them at more than 10 times! No matter what I provide them, they tell me I need to provide something new! My landlord is completely and utterly useless as always!! They charge $12 a month even though you have insurance!! Of course, they don’t want you to opt out because then they don’t make money!! I plan on filing a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau in the state of Virginia. I hope that anyone else who reads this and is having problems will also do so. it’s just a scam of a company that works with local landlords for both of their benefit while further hurting tenants! Completely and utterly disgusting!!

I pay for renters insurance and I’ve never encountered a insurance company that doesn’t answer their phone during business hours nor return emails! This company has to be a total scam if you can’t get service if you pay for it monthly! I have water damage in my apartment and I’ve tried to file a claim but no one will answer the phone or email provided! I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau if I can’t receive the service I’m being charged for!

This is a great team that cares about the residents they serve. The opt-out process is very easy, I never felt like I had to join the program but did anyways because it was just easier! Thanks POPIC, for taking care of the headache of liability insurance!
