Selena Yancey Has been great! Explained everything to me and going above and beyond to help fix my issue. I’m not using them for collections but as the processor for a purchase I made so I can’t speak for the collection side of the company. Not a fan of not being able to wait to talk to somebody and having to leave a message but Selena has been great. When people in customer service don’t care, it is nice to find somebody who is nice and helpful! Breath of fresh air!

This morning, I had a bit of an embarrassing situation occur. I received a call from Monterey Financial Services where I spoke
with a very nice woman by the name of Cece Lee.
She informed me that I was behind in my payments, and she wanted to help me get back on track. I thought that I had made a final payoff payment back in July. Cece was able to look back in her system of my account and provide me with some critical information that I was unaware of.
With this information, I was able to look into my records and see that what indeed, I had not paid off the account after all.
As I profusely apologized, Cece made me feel much better about the situation and said that she would help me to get issue resolved.
It took Cece no time at all to guide me through the payoff process! She was very nice and patient with me as it takes me a little more time to work with computers and on-line banking.
In the end, Cece Lee was an absolute joy to deal with. I appreciate her assistance and understanding.

She was able to do the necessary research to find out what the early payoff balance would be and even checked back in while I was on hold to let me know she was still working on things. So this is only the second loan I have ever had and I have to say, it’s been a bit of a confusing experience in regards to making payments accurately. The website can be a bit confusing but the customer service reps are beyond helpful and empathetic to any issues I have had in regards to getting my payment information correct! I wish I could remember the first customer service member who helped me the first occasion I had trouble but Nicole helped me the second time around and was beyond sweet! She explained why what happened had happened, how to go about my next payment properly, and explained in further detail for me to better understand.
