Pros: Strategic location. Simple, modern, and I had a nice sleep here. The breakfast was superior and I'd love the presentation. Amenity kits provided in the lobby.

Cons: The room was a bit hot even tho i set the temperature to the lowest. However, be aware there was a hair in a towel. Not a biggie. The check in was tedious and took a bit long.

The location is very good. The hotel is located close to Hakata station. Instead of getting lost like I did, crossing pedestrian bridges with a heavy suitcase etc. look for the West 6 exit underground in Hakata station. The area is very quiet at night.||The room was nice, immaculately clean as (almost) always in Japan. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking.||Staff were courteous, although it never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is to communicate in English in Japan, even with people working in the tourism industry. Several times we had to give up on, in my view, pretty straightforward questions. The one who it was the easiest to communicate with was a young female trainee. I hope the hotel hires her on the spot.||Canal City shopping mall is a ten minute walk away from the hotel. A few minutes beyond that is Nakasu which has a lot of yatai food stalls, and across the river from that is an area with a lot of nightlife.||If I ever come back to Fukuoka I'd gladly stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is an easy 5 min walk from the JR Hakata station.|Lobby was small but check-in was easy.|Room was small for three of us and the extra bed was uncomfortable affecting our sleep. Amenities were basic as you would expect from the hotel in this category.|Service staff while courteous seems serious and offered little help unless approached.|Location was good as it is near the JR station where two underground lines run. It is two minutes from the bus terminal for direct transport to the international terminal of the Fukuoka airport.|Despite the size of the room, we would be satisfied with the hotel except for its uncomfortable extra bed affecting our quality of sleep.

Excellect location and close to Hakata Station, I could go to West 6 gate and go down to underground mall, take JR, bus and subway easily.
The room was bigger than other hotels and comfy, but I found other people's hair on the new-replaced towels two times, it was unacceptable in Japan's hotels.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious.

The shower is amazing. GREAT water pressure and a variety of nozzles.

There is a smoking cabin in the lobby near the toilets on the ground floor. You need a card to enter the lobby late at night.

The staff are all very friendly and there are many of them on duty, even late at night. This makes it efficient for check in during busy periods.

The location is close to the station.

This the my first night of my 3 day trip in Fukuoka, I’m writing this review as I was waken up from sleep by the loud chatter coming from the street at around midnight. I needed nothing but a good sleep for the first night after 14 hour overnight flight!

Upon check-in I was given a 4th floor room, but I found out I mistakenly booked a double smoking room, which should’ve been a non-smoking, even though special request I added “non-smoking, high floor, away from lift” as I’m a light sleeper. The friendly lady at check-in kindly helped me change to room 212, I thought it wasn’t a big deal, I was happy to trade a low floor to a non-smoking room due to my own mistake. But clearly I underestimated the poor sound insulation of my room. The room is opposite to a restaurant or some sort, if you’re a light sleep, make sure ask for a higher floor that might help to your sleep.

The goods: fantastic location, 5mins walk from Hakata station. And you can even use underground street from Hakata station, 1min walk to hotel from exit West 6, good for summer and rainy days!

The bads: low floor can hear noise from the street, no daily bottled water given

Location is easily accessible by train(Hakata Station) and bus(Hataka bus terminal). Take elevator on the west exit side to Level 2 and walk across the bridge to other end passing bus terminal's Macdonald at level 2 and use the escalator if has luggage. Walk to west exit 6 from train station basement if has no luggage. Tokyu Rei is behind Route Inn and Toyoko Inn and opposite Comfort Hotel. Room size is expected as in booking. Staff's service is basic and no mention of free drinks which we only found out on the 2nd day of stay when we saw guests drinking. We did not watch TV programmes hence didn't read the information on TV. No greeting whenever we enter, the male staffs even seems busy looking down all the times when we entered. The only time we were greeted was when we checked out though not sure if they are the same staffs. Room is dusty as I got itcheyes through out the 2 nights I stayed which was rare even with purifier on. Regardless, still recommend this hotel for convenience. Amenities self service at lobby. Water provides in room. No bathtub.
