Horrible insurance, and I would never recommend it. I had a storage with Extra Space Storage. And had to file a claim. Unfortunately, because my property was broken into and burglarized. It's been over 2 months, but never heard back from anyone.

I’ve filed my claim 2 times now and still haven’t heard from them. But I still have to store my moldy stinky stuff so they can see it or risk losing my claim.

Do not take out insurance with them if you have a choose at any storage unit. I made a claim in Oct of 2024 and still have not heard back from anyone.
