Had AAA 40+ years. This is by far the worst branch, employees are never around. They all go on lunch break at the same time apparently?

That would include at 10:00 in the morning, 3:00 in the afternoon. We can never get anyone. Last time I left a message they called back over a week later. Thinking I was going to buy homeowners insurance. And when I didn't? They wanted nothing to do with me.

they don't sell the cheapest auto insurance. There is no discount for having AAA

They evidently get a commission yet take no responsibility for their insurance programs

But ALWAYS hassling us to buy more insurance.

I'll stick with road service and I will never get insurance through AAA again.
There's no loyalty program. You get nothing for being a loyal member or maintaining the same insurance carrier.

AAA roadside assistance has also gotten strange.
We may look for another Auto Club.

After over 40 years. AAA is nothing but a rip off now.

They are in cahoots with Alaska government & law enforcement who refuse to take police reports. So they can under report crime rates claiming there's 30% less crime. Yet without a police report, we can't file insurance claims. Cops on the side of the road ticketing innocent cars that are doing nothing. Doing hockey stops in the middle of Sterling highway to warp their radar detector readings.

AAA knows this... The cooperate with the corruption.

We're supposed to have less crime rates, we can't report accidents, property crimes nor damage, Alaska lawyers like Sonya Redmond are in on this, yet our insurance rates keep going up.

My family and I stopped here for international drivers licenses and the staff was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes! Highly recommend this office!!

Thr past 2x times I've tried to ise AAA for a tow they failed. I was left stranded in both instances. Both experiences, AAA took so long to tell me they couldn't complete the tow, I was left after normal business horus and had to return the next day.

There is no point in their services. I can call a tow company myself to be told NO.

Unacceptable lack of service considering my membership is prepaid annually so they got their emd of the bargain. I will be asking for a refund and cancellation of 30+ years of business.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Needed to get international drivers license issued. Was able to drop it off and come back and pick it up later same day service.

Absolutely terrible. Don't get insurance thru AAA. They cancelled my policy without giving me a reason. If you are an active duty soldier on JBER avoid this place.

This review does not reflect on this branch specifically, but AAA as a whole as reimbursements can only be submitted online.

The absolute worse company that I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with when it comes to being reimbursed for a tow. Been going back and forth since July 19th, 2022 because my full name is on the receipt (which automatically happens when you swipe your credit card) instead of only my first and last name. This is what is confusing them and they won’t reimburse me, or better way to explain it, they just started not replying back since July 28th, 2022. Tow was $1600 for my RV that they said they would cover when I purchased the premium plan. Didn’t have phone service where I broke down, so reimbursement was my only choice. Have a feeling I’ll be taking AAA to court soon as they are currently in violation of paying within a reasonable amount of time in about 7 days. Super exciting. Avoid this company at all costs.

Good luck getting a hold of a human being! You have to use their app, but if your stuck in an area with bad internet, you might as well give up & call someone else. I spent 2hrs, with my car stuck in the side of the road, trying to get through to a human being. I ended up calling the tow truck directly, and promptly switched to State Farm roadside assistance.
