Wes Johnson has been my financial advisor for 10-15 years. After my husband's passing, Wes was a point of calm amid the chaos, and helped me understand my financial situation. Over the years since then, he has adjusted my investments to suit market changes and my personal level of risk tolerance, and was instrumental in my decision to retire early. He is always supportive, patient in explaining things in ways I can understand, and knowledgeable about the ever-changing investment environment and my personal financial needs. In-person meetings were helpful when I lived in the Charleston SC area, but Wes is every bit as attentive and responsive now that I have moved to another state. The other staff at ACT Advisors are easy to work with when documents need to be signed, and online access provides detailed information about my accounts and investments at any time. When my son is ready to begin investing, I will strongly urge him to contact Wes.

Doug and his staff do an excellent job of managing our investments. I used to do most of my own investing and felt that I was a fairly knowledgeable investor, but over the years, I realized that Doug does as well, or better than I do and it takes almost none of my time. LPL has a large research staff and Doug uses that resource to help ensure that my wife and I invest in the areas that meet our objectives with risk and reward. With other investment firms I have to manage my RMD and ensure that we pull the money before the deadline. With Doug, this is done for me. He just makes it so easy to invest and reap the benefits from experience and solid guidance. The fact that he is also a super nice guy makes the decision easy for us.
