Alex Copado was very informative, and also found an insurance payment I was making that was I should have canceled long ago. He filled out all the paperwork for me, addressed an envelope, told me what I needed to add to the information, and I received a refund for funds I overpaid.
My next appointment for finances was also informative.

I had the pleasure of working with Adam at APG for my life insurrance needs. Upon arriving to my appointment, I was warmly welcomed by Rose who checked me in and offered me refreshments. I was soon greeted by Adam for our appointment.

The Advanced Planning Group is an extremely impressive, professional team. My wife and I went to a free seminar that they put on and were amazed at how much information they had. When my retirement got closer we set up an appointment and had the good fortune of meeting with Alex Copado. This gentleman was not only professional but made the appointment a pleasure to attend. He went over every aspect of my retirement including issues that I would never have even thought of. From insurance (Life & Health) to benefit payment Alex covered the whole range and helped us to efficiently plan. He assisted with the change of life insurance to a more cost efficient version instead of the federal plan. I'm convinced that our appointment must have taken twice the time he had scheduled for us but Alex didn't cut anything short as he was more concerned with getting it all done right rather than saving time.

My husband and I attended a retirement seminar in April of 2016 and set an appointment to meet with APG a couple months later. We thought retirement was about 5 years away and just wanted to see if we were on the right track. Well, little did we know at that first meeting how much our lives would be changing over the next year and a half - and how valuable APG would become to us. From the very beginning everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Alex went over everything with us in detail and helped us with saving some money when it came to life insurance and increasing our TSP. And then, not even six months after our consultation, my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Alex went out of his way to assist us with submitting an insurance claim on our life insurance for early withdrawal of part of the funds. During my husband's illness, Alex would come by to visit and see how we were doing whenever he was in town. Then, when it looked like my husband had beat cancer but still would not be able to return to work, Alex was there to help us fill out and submit his retirement paperwork. And when just a couple weeks later my husband passed away before his retirement date, Alex was there again to help me change everything over to survivor benefits. I would not have been able to handle all the paperwork involved in the last year had it not been for Alex and APG. It is the best money I've ever spent.
