We had such an amazing trip on the 12-Day Mountaineering course with AMS! The professionalism and thoughtfulness the organization provided was truly impressive. Completed the 12-day mountaineering course and absolutely loved it. Three instructors to nine students. I felt very safe and learned a great deal. Would certainly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about mountaineering or climbing. Instructors were knowledgeable and passionate about what they were teaching.

I was part of the 8 Day Advanced Alpine Course. AMS was super responsive to all my questions before the trip. Once I got there the guide was extremely knowledgeable, chill, and passionate about the profession. I felt safe at all times and learned an incredible amount of skills through hands on training. Absolutely would recommend the advanced course for those with a solid baseline experience looking to improve their skills and wanting to focus on climbing!

I recently completed a successful Denali trip with Alaska Mountaineering School (AMS), and from start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional.

The guides were outstanding—highly professional, knowledgeable, and focused on safety. Their expertise made the ascent manageable and enjoyable. They were always there to offer support, whether it was technical advice on climbing or simply a word of encouragement on the difficult sections.
