What a terrible experience
I was offered protection and security before buying the trip insurance. It also stated my trip is an investment and protect your investment before you travel. Anyone can check the Allianz Global Assistance website for their offers and promises.
I realized all those were gimmicks and were a trap to catch customers. Approached with a claim and had to deal with people from other countries who could not even understand the terms of the policy.
I paid over a thousand dollars for my trip interruption coverage and I am dealing with a terrible and unethical business.
An examiner’s unfortunate inexperience in calculating the cost of a new flight reduced my reimbursement. Another examiner admitted the error made by the first examiner, and she promised to correct the error after verifying my documents. Still, I am seeking reimbursement for my return flight as I have 150% coverage.
The trip cost for the two of us is $7312.66 per examiner Fernanda Garcia, after verifying the documents. (business class tickets )

Misinterpreting the terms of the policy though is very clear to understand. The claims department said they have too many claims to settle and hope too many people have been trapped with false offers.

Due to this terrible experience and no help from anyone from their Global Assistance team, I will not do business again with this unethical business.
Furthermore, the payment notification stated we paid you for the new ticket. Paid only the additional cost of the trip as I have up to 150% coverage and still the original cost of the ticket was not paid. No one can fly from another country to IAH with $1773, for two, as the rebooking fee and taxes. That simple, should not have to be a scientist to calculate the cost of the ticket.
The company charged enough premium for the coverage of up to 150%. Now they are cheating by misinterpreting the terms of the policy.

For the last three months, I have bbeen dealing with claims, for my trip interruption and the return flight reimbursement.
Misinterpreting policy language to their convenience and I feel like I am cheated with a one time prime policy, and coverage upto $24000 for the two of us.
Worse than a scam operation.
