My wife and I recently decided to combine our car insurance after getting married, thinking it would save us money. When we called, we spoke with Leanna, who assured us our combined bill would be cheaper than what we were paying separately. Based on her quote, we decided to move forward. However, about a month later, I received a bill nearly $600, which included multiple months, but still seemed excessively high.

After calling to clarify the charges, I was shocked to learn that our monthly bill was actually $80 more than what we had been paying separately, contradicting the original quote Leanna had provided. When I questioned this, Leanna was unprofessional and dismissive, despite giving us inaccurate information that led to our decision.

I escalated the matter to her manager, Brian Parker, who acknowledged the mistake and agreed that if I had been given the correct pricing, I wouldn’t have combined our accounts. Unfortunately, even after multiple emails to Alyson regarding her team’s lack of professionalism, she showed no effort to retain our business or address the issue meaningfully.

In the end, I chose to take my business elsewhere and recommend others do the same. The lack of transparency, professionalism, and accountability here is concerning. Brian Parker thank you for the professional manner in which you handled this situation.

First, I want to address the backhanded apology you gave in your response, insinuating that we misunderstood the pricing structure. Misunderstanding was not the issue your employee provided incorrect information, and there was a clear communication failure on your end. My wife, a physician, and I, are more than capable of understanding basic English. When we explicitly asked if our total bill would be cheaper and were told “yes,” the issue wasn’t with comprehension it was with the inaccurate information provided by your staff.

Secondly, I find it ironic that you were able to promptly respond to this review, where potential future clients can see it, yet you ignored multiple emails seeking resolution. This lack of communication is unprofessional.

It seems that rather than taking responsibility for the mistake, you are deflecting blame onto us, as if we were the problem when I know Brain your operations manager was upset and planned to coach Leanna for future customers.

This experience has been disappointing, to say the least, and you should own up to your staffs mistakes rather than simply damage controlling on this public platforms because you don’t want to lose future business. Pathetic

Allstate came in with the best price and was easy to set up protection service on my vehicle. I haven’t had to use any claims, but I felt safe, knowing that I had Allstate there if needed. Definitely recommend getting a quote from Allstate if you’re looking for vehicle insurance…
