DO NOT USE GEICO. One of their policy holders literally look a left and drove into the side of my truck causing extensive damage. Although the police officer, witnesses and myself all stated is was clearly his fault, Geico is placing 25% of the blame on me. How? What could I do? There was no place for me to go! It was clearly 100% his fault! The rep. from Geico said this was, "based on the "investigation". Please.....there was NO investigation. Now my insurance has to pay for part of the repair, my rates go up and safe driving points go down, even though there was nothing I could do. Very shady. Watch, they was address this complaint other than the standard, computer generated response. STAY AWAY FROM GEICO INSURANACE AND ANY AGENT THE REPRESENTS THEM.

Got a quote from Geico for the exact same policy I eventually got somewhere else - $5800. The one I got was $1200. How Geico gets away with this is above my pay grade. Don't even bother.

This organization engaged in price gouging and bait-and-switch tactics against me when I was shopping for auto insurance. They then refused to honor a quote that was provided to me, and the stated reason for doing so was a nonsensical fabrication.

I received a quote from them in January. When shopping for a new policy in May, the quote inexplicably jumped over $700 despite no changes in my driving history/record. I filled out the application anyway in order to get the final pricing and see what I can find out. By the time I finished the application, my price for the year had gone up again to a total increase of $2000 yearly premium over January's quote.

Upon looking into the unexplained and unjustified price jump, they cited an incident in 2019 that I had already reported to them. Not only was this already factored into the quote as I reported it fully and accurately, but as discussed, I had already gotten a final quote from them several months ago with that incident cited fully and accurately. As a consumer with many options, I am not impressed by the bait-and-switch and Geico refusing to honor their quotes, and I resent the implication from Angelo that I did not report this incident accurately in my initial application.

I ultimately bought Geico policy due to the cheapest initial monthly rate, however I will not be maintaining my policy with this company unless they take steps to correct. I am disgusted by this company's predatory actions and how they attempted to exploit me for the quick money. I intended to keep my policy active for a long time, so it is amusing that they exploited me for a couple hundred bucks now rather than maintain my business for many years and many thousands of dollars. Great business practice, Angelo!

Manipulative agent tried getting an extra $1,000 from me by not giving me the deductibles I asked for, yet telling me she did, so I’d purchase her policy with her.

———Long story: I was shopping for new insurance. I had asked for the highest deductibles on all possible options so that my premium was the lowest it could be. I said I understand what it means and told her that is what I want anyways. She told me she raised them and got the lowest price possible for me. When I look at my policy after purchasing it, I see that my deductibles are no where close to the highest I asked for and that she promised. In fact, when I switched them to what I had asked, I saved $1,000 off my premium for the year. Beware of their promises and acting friendly.
