When my son was three years old, the Early Childhood Early Intervention program in Texas suggested that he might have autism. However, due to their policy of waiting for formal testing, we struggled to find the right help as we moved frequently due to being in the military. It has been challenging to locate a specialist who could assess him and provide the necessary support as his condition worsened. I am overjoyed that I discovered Associated Clinical Services. After reaching out online, the office manager, Cara, promptly responded and scheduled a meeting with Dr. Henley. Through a zoom consultation and subsequent in-person evaluations, Dr. Henley diagnosed my son with autism and ADHD. Finally having a confirmed diagnosis after 13 years of knowing something was amiss has brought immense relief to our family.

A family of member has been going to the Springfield office for almost two years and their therapist is wonderful. I have never had a negative interaction with front office staff, scheduling staff or with any of the four clinicians who conducted their extensive testing. And they take most insurance!

This office has violated my parental rights for 4 years now. Denying me my children’s medical records of clinical services received. 0/10 recommended.

My last session happened April 5th, 2021 at the Manassas office. I was felt so humiliated and belittled that I refrained from writing a review. I did not feel like I was treated with care or professionally. The Dr. pretty much pushed me out of the door as we went over time and they were closing. She followed me out to lock it after I left which isn't a problem; I like to close the door behind me to make sure it doesn't slam and she was pushing it closed so she could lock it while I was still holding on. Treatment was awful and I did not get the help I needed after lots of time and money spent. Luckily, I was able to get the care I needed eventually but for the awareness of people who genuinely need help I must make my experience know. Sharon at the front desk was very kind however.

I'll lead with the fact that was I wasn't actually able to be seen for this review; but everything leading up to my appointment was Unnacceptable. I had my suspicions about the unprofessionalism from the first phone call, but I went with it. After that call I was called back later with the receptionist saying that Dr. isn't accepting new patients (they dont know that off hand..?) Anyway.. understandable, ill switch.. red flag #1 - Two weeks go by and I bring in my pre appt paperwork. Things go alright, but they seem very dismissive. They asked who my therapist was and I said "I'm unsure as this is my first appt (hence the new paperwork) they say "doesn't matter, thanks." They take my docs, and scan my ID, without knowing who I was seeing. Red flag #2. I left the office, but after sitting in my car for a second, me not knowing who I was seeing didn't feel right. I went back inside to ask and there was a woman at the counter who seemed to be giving the receptionist some trouble. Agter a few minutes she asked me to come to the back, and someone else could help me. Then when I get inside she says "wait.. didnt you JUST come in? With a snide tone. Mind you, I'm wearing some very obvious clothes - for sure the same person. No need for the sass. The woman that I went to for info helped me and was polite- then the receptionist closes the window on the woman on the otherside of the door and sighs loud and cusses. Says "I've told her several times today I can't do anything for her!" I get it, frustrations are normal... but I'm a "patient" in your face here.. not a coworker. Red flag #3. Finally, roughly 90 minutes before my appointment I get a call and email saying the Dr I was scheduled to see "isn't accepting new in person patients" either. Called the front desk; the Dr. Apparently decided two weeks ago to stop accepting new in-person patients. (Shouldn't have affected me because I was booked pre "decision.") Regardless - now I'm being told I cannot be seen in person. And if in person is a requirement for me, I need to make a new appointment with a new doctor because this doctor didn't want to do the initial appointment for me to have to redo it Again. In short, I'm told 90 minutes before I'm supposed to get care that the doctor doesn't want to see me. Then speaking with the Doctor she tries to deflect responsibility by saying "this isn't anyone's fault." - it is. It's yours and the front offices. Its asaine that scheduling isnt reviewed after you make a scheduling change that would 100% affect your patients. Then "I don't want to waste your time." You did. Over 2 weeks waiting, and now presumably 2 more weeks trying to find a new office to see me. Ill say this in conclusion; this place does not take mental health seriously. The only reason they get more than 1 star is because I didn't even get to be seen; so im unsure if they're legitimately good at their jobs or not.

My Daughter went here for six sessions. As her legal custodial father I requested her Medical records. I had to subpoena them twice with my lawyer and then get a court order to get records that I was legally entitled to. They then try and charge me $100 for the records with was 5 pages. On top of that they still have not got the insurance claims straight. I don't know much about the Dr.'s there but they cannot be worth the practices and personnel that you have to deal with. When your child is going through a rough patch or just plain needs help that last thing you need it do deal with incompetent people.

I’m writing to help other people if they decide to go here. I’d heard good things about Dr Carter, but we weren’t able to see her. Just be aware, do NOT be late. It can be hard to find, it’s in a weird little building behind another one that says other doc names but not the name of their practice, down the very end of a little hallway on the main floor without much signage. Bring something to do, and headphones, because you will be stuck watching an inexplicably large and loud tv turned to animal medical shows. But seriously, maybe you have adhd like I do, and maybe you’ll have 3 kids to get to the last day of school and hit a water main break next to a high school graduation and seemingly every single car in the universe is on the road with no idea how to navigate all the detours, and you’ll think, “these people treat people with adhd, surely they are understanding of a bit of lateness.” No, they aren’t. They will not care if you cry and they will not see you and they will not reschedule you (maybe they’ll call me to reschedule? Unclear). Just be warned! I wish I’d known, so my daughter didn’t miss her appt we’d been waiting for for SO long 😞

If I could give it zero stars I would! I was desperate for my daughter to see someone after some traumatic things that happened to her. I scheduled an appointment and we arrived to be scolded that we were late when I am certain that we were not. The receptionist did not smile and she was behind a glass window eating and talking to her associate. She said we could not be seen that day and asked for our insurance cards and then basically threw the paperwork at us. We were so stunned when we sat down in the waiting room I decided not to pursue this clinic! If they treat you like this when you are in psychological pain what does that say about the practice in general? No thank you.!
